I know their are some pretty strong feelings about USAPA at USAIR, but do you USAPA guys realize how majority of the industry thinks you guys are the biggest bunch of wankers this industry has ever seen?

From the way it looks outside is Usapa has no interest at all in representing AWA pilots. They simply want them to fall in line and let the Nic award go. Don't fall for it AWA guys, you have the award, now make them eat their shorts.

So USAPA has been in office since March and the two big accomplishments have been suing AWA pilots and forcing Doug Parker to pick up the phone and call Scabford. What a union....It would be funny if it wasn't so tragic.

I hope you east captains enjoy making less than SWA fo's because it's going to be that way for a loooong time.

If you don't want to download the whole deal...here are the high points.

II. Defendants’ Campaign to Destroy USAPA

A. Defendants’ Sabotage of USAPA’s Toll-Free telephone Service
B. Defendants’ Use of Profane, Indecent and Threatening Language Over the Telephone
C. Defendants’ Threatening and Harassing Communications
D. Conspiracy to Violate Union Security Provision of Collective Bargaining Agreement Frivolous Grievances
F. Imposition of Costs Through Deceptive Use of the U.S. Mail
G. Jump Seat Boycott
H. Defendants’ Defamatory Acts

Here is one of my FAVORITE parts of the thing. From the "History of USAPA" Section:

34. In order to establish a democratic union that respects date of hire seniority, among other reasons, a group of pilots formed the US Airline Pilots Association (“USAPA”), and sought to replace ALPA as the collective bargaining representative of the pilots at the combined US Airways.

35. Consistent with its constitutional objective “[t]o maintain uniform principles of seniority based on date of hire and the perpetuation thereof,” USAPA campaigned on a platform that included its intention to negotiate with the carrier a seniority list based on date of hire for the pilots of post-merger US Airways similar to the approach adopted by other labor groups, including the flight attendants, mechanics and related employees, stock clerks, and the dispatchers.

So, the purpose of creating USAPA was to institute DOH. PERIOD. Don't believe any of the other anti-ALPA rubbish. It had nothing to do with ALPA.

Oh, and watch out.

20. Upon information and belief, the fictitiously named defendants sued herein as John Doe Defendants 1 through 100, inclusive, and each of them, were in some manner responsible and/or legally liable for the events, actions, transactions, and circumstances alleged herein. The true names and capacities of these fictitiously named defendants, whether individual, corporate, associate, or otherwise, are at present unknown to the plaintiff, who will seek leave of this Court to amend this Complaint to assert the true names and capacities of these fictitiously named defendants when their names and capacities have become known to the plaintiff.

Pretty much ANYONE can now be named as "John Doe Defendants 1 through 100". If this isn't an intimidation tactic, I don't know what is. Almost all of the accusations are based on postings from the AWAPPA (America West Airlines Pilots Protective Alliance) website. USAPA evidently has a mole or hacked the site and copied many of the postings verbatim in the lawsuit.

So watch out. USAPA is gonna getcha!

Well at least they finally admitted the reason for creating USAPA

They didn't need to ADMIT it. It was readily apparent from the start.

Copilot SCABford and his bastard union USCABA become more and more pathetic by the day. How many buttons and stickers will they have to sell to dimwitted Eastie pilots on their website to finance this silly little lawsuit? Have they even raised enough money for a legitimate election yet, or is SCABford just going to remain as the self-appointed USCABA honcho?
