To bad some are trying to reinvent the meaning of seniority within labor. The Gen X Pilots are shortsighted bunch of PFT fools that want a windfall at some one elses expense. No wonder our job has become a joke. The Profession has very little respect left in it. Just look at the hotels we used to stay in and at which hotels we we stay in now when overnighting in big citys like SFO. PHX our so called home down airline and Clt hotels are not even 1 stars.

Any loser now has the ability to become a Pilot thanks to the PFT crowd. You train til you get it right.

Never PFT in my life. One could argue the weak pilot group of a regularly Bankrupt airline, one that agreed to the worst contract on modern times could be the anchor around the neck of this industry and it's pilots.

Twist words, definitions and logic all you like, DOH is DOA. The sooner you accept that, the sooner you'd have a contract you wont be so embarrassed of. A rising tide lifts all boats. Therefore, when you guys decide to get your contract off the Sea Floor, you'd actually be helping this industry instead of continually harming it...ie USAPA and LOA 93.

Hopefully Judge Wake will "talk" some sense into you guys. However, I doubt even that would alter some East perceptions of superiority. Helen Keller had better perceptions than many of our Eastern Brothers and Sisters.

Be a Good Union Pilot and keep paying those dues and assessments. There is a huge Bill headed your way.

Didn't the east agree to regional-style Stand Up overnights? (that the east was a bunch of "stand-up guys" was a HUGE misunderstanding). They hardly get to see the hotel room, why complain?

The truth is usair was/is? a regional airline. The airline wanted stand-ups because it was an efficient way to utilize crews for the regional airline schedule and route structure they operated. 20 years ago before the usair pilots began systematically negotiating away their industry-leading duty rigs, the stand-up overnights were coveted duty, especially if you lived in domicile. You could do a dozen a month and get your time in. You got a hotel room and 6 hours or so of sleep per night.

Breaking News..........Top leaders of USAPA in disagreement as to whether or not they should continue to utilize the same law firm led by lawyer Mr. Seemoney. Our sources state that there is an internal debate amongst USAPA leadership as to whether or not this law firm has the legal capacity to handle DFR Cases of this magnitude. USAPA claims that this case never had any merit to begin with and leadership as well as members are outraged with the advice that Mr Seemoney has been offering its union.

Mr. Seemoney has been the lawyer for USAPA. To date, his track record against west lawyers has done nothing for USAirways East Coast Pilots but cost them money in a losing battle for DOH Seniroity. This battle for seniority is recognized throughout the judicial system as a futile attempt to undo a seniority list that was already decided by a federal arbitrator selected by the very same east pilots that are not happy with the outcome of that decision. These very same east pilots are now working under extremely poor work rules and the lowest pay in the airline industry.

Most industry analyst see this fight for seniority as nothing more then a waste of money by an industry labor group that can ill afford to waste money when they are the lowest paid in the industry.

For the time being, the lawyers will continue to get rich in a futile attempt to set aside an arbitrated seniority list that will continue to be recognized by judges throughout the nation.

East lawyers are now exposing east pilots to monetary damages awarded to west pilots if a Federal Judge in the District of Arizona decides to rule in favor of the west pilots. This alone will amount to hugh assesments upon this union and many analyst predict this will likely occur from the decision on a temporary injunction that was already delivered by a Federal Judge in the United States Federal Court System.

The question remains, when will the members of USAPA say enough is enough and rid themselves of careless and reckless leadership that has all but given away their futures and now is giving away what remains of their bank accounts?

Alot of wishful thinking here.
Good luck.

If the Nic would ever get forced on us by some court, you will see 3200 pilots burn this crap airline to bits. Your lottery ticket will be then worthless as your lousy airline was 1999.

Not one of us is going to yank gear to someone who did not even have his pilot license 1988.

Again, good luck with trying to get that lottery ticket.
