Enjoy all that growth under your new bid!!! Still under LOA 93 till the NIC. kicks in and all Westies slide into those line holding positions!!!!
If it makes YOU feel better....
Word on the street is... A PHX base spin-off. AMR/UCC finds NO VALUE in a hub city too close to DFW. Besides the profit margins out of PHX are more in line with an LCC's cost structure. The higher CPSM associated with a NEW US/AA pilot contract would instantly make PHX a money looser!! It already is. Look for JB or, possibly SW to make a run for the west operation..
Then you can frame the Nic and proudly display it on your mantle..

Technically INCORRECT, the company said in the Addington trial that they would expect to perhaps pay an additional 7-8% on top of the current offer of 3% increase (of the AWS wage while under ALPA). That is $142 X 1.11 = $157.62 an hour. YOU COULD HAVE HAD THAT IN 2007!!

We could have been negotiating a SECOND post merger contract NOW (like Delta ALREADY DID - EARLY).

You sad sacks have bucked and weaved yourselves into the lowest wage in the industry all for the legally flawed chase of Date of Hire. REMEMBER: NO court has EVER overturned an arbitrated seniority list (just ask Mike & Randy. Hey, aren't they retired now?).

Lost $$, NEVER to be recovered. TONS of $$ spend on a paper chase, that will get you only DELAY. Sad, sad, sad.

West ALPA reps should have taken this under consideration when they refused to MOU the Nicolai award until it was too late.

Both West/East are equally responsible here.

What does "MOU the Nicolau award" mean? Why would one need to ever get a Memorandum of Understanding regarding a final and binding arbitration?

West and East ALPAs started working on an MOU to the NIC when it became obvious that USAPA may takeover. The MOU established additional restrictions, fences and a credit for the retirements now occurring East. This occurred soon after ALPA national waived their right to replace the East MEC for refusing to negotiate—they also knew USAPA was a credible threat.

How much more mileage do you intend to drag out of that lie.

There was no MOU of the sort. Of course your credibility would only be threatened if you had any to start with.

You so-called friend told you this, but the east has a track record of gullibility. Like spinning off a base. You are aware there are other employees besides pilots, don't you.

Another "a-ha" moment, brought to you by reality.

We don't negotiate with terrorists. See you in Court...and on LOA93 into perpetuity.
