that would be the first CVR I ever knew that recorded 7 hours of voice

Zocalo might stick to reporting on narco killings and kidnappings, things they are more familiar with

I hadn't talked to Lonnie in a few years. But that sure doesn't sound like the guy I was friends with.

To translate the above link roughly

Lawsuit in the cabin causes avionazo By Writing 02/09/2008 - 06:19 A.M. The investigators of the Federal Agency of Aviation of the United States and of the Direction of Civil Aviation of Mexico left Forecastle as soon as they listened to the recordings that gave testimony of the cause of the accident. ANTECEDENTS OF THE ACCIDENT The Sunday 6 of July to the 01:18 hours, the jet DC-9 collapsed around the kilometer the 3 of the Rescue Lopez Opening, behind the back of the airport Plan of Guadalupe, where it tried to land. The airship, loaded with automotive components of Great Power Train, was divided in two in contact with the pavement and soon it exploded. Nobody imagined what it happened in the cabin; either the consequences.

STILL NOT BUYING IT!

BTW, do a search of MexicanFlyBoy's posts and make your judgment call for yourself on if you can take his posts seriously.

Mexicanflyboy's broken English is sometimes not so broken, and his Spanish is poor at best. He's a troll.

The US media has never been remotely reliable...who would possibly think anything gleaned out of a Mexican paper any more so?

With a current investigation under way, why sully the reputation of two pilots and introduce unsubstantiated rumor? Speculation is unprofessional.

Try a little decorum.

we have to wait until everything gets investigated and will will know what really happends! I don't buy what the Mexican news are saying about the crash... it could it be that they are making it up to have ratings!

only the NTSB is allow to hear the CVR.. not the newspapers of Mexico can even do that.. but, you never know what will come out when the CVR comes out!

until then is just a rumor.
