It is still a HUGE ?????????????????

It is without a doubt, the most F'd up airline I've ever been involved with. Anyone coming back here hoping for the best will be sorely dissappointed. If you are leaving a decent job, please send me the contact info for the position you are leaving so I can apply.

For those of you that think this is a hard decision, you are wrong. Use your head, not your heart. In it's present state, this airline will not be around very long. Whatever the upcoming change(s) will be, do you really want to wait around and be on the botom of list when it happens? Whatever it may be?

Good point. It's really not much of a decision for me. I've already made it but am just having some last minute have-I-looked-at-every-angle thoughts.

I am not taking my east recall.

I was hired at the West and the doom and gloom airline followed me to the land of the cactus.

B-atch you going back?

They recalled us for an Aug27 class and now they're trying to get takers for an Aug20 date that they're trying to put together. I guess they're really hurtin....

It seems everywhere I turn there's another sign beating back my greed (which is good, because the closer it gets to "time" the more I think maybe I should go back, only for the money). The most recent was on a church marquis: "Children need your time, not your money". Pretty heavy stuff considering I'd be a long-term commuter with 7 yo twin girls at home!

FurlougedAgain maybe you should go back and I should decline. Then at least maybe one of us will make the right choice.

Big Disappointment from the 7/30th recall class. Rumors had it that several wide body AC would be available for this class. As it turns out, only 319 slots were available and awarded. It seems to me that Airways is using the "Big Airplane" carrot once again. In reality, only 17 out of 29 showed up for class. In my opinion 3 to 5 will throw in the towel before the week ends. My personal "Gut Feeling" is that this place has not changed in the last 6 years.... Still A big ????????? proceed with CAUTION !!! That's all I've got to say!!

Every airplane is a "small airplane" compared to the 747-400 you are flying... So, do you have the international bug? Is that why you want the A330/767? A319 wouldn't be too bad in my opinion.

Good luck.

Yeah, and little did we know when we hired him that he'd bring 4500 of his nastiest buddies along with him!;)

In my case, I'm trying to chase the money! BIGGG pay-cut for me. The wide body would make the transition a bit less painful. I don't anticipate any recall pilot being able to hold on to the wide-body too long ,but it will buy some time. 4th year pay on the 320 is $73/hr. 3rd year its $62!!! OUCH!!!!
