Reapply if you can. Don't take no for an answer. Trust me, it is frustrating for us working here to know that people with recommendations are not even getting the call to interview. It's all up to the mercy of HR.

There have been several new hires that were rejected in the interview within the last year. Reapply after 6 months and keep trying.

Huh? How do you figure? You didn't choose the group with whom you were interviewing. If you just have to be a USAirways pilot, then re-apply. If you want a great career, there are plenty of opportunities out there.

Dude, it's a crap shoot at best, in no way can you blame yourself for the outcome. You will dust yourself off and realize that you and your skills are not defined by any airline hiring process. You will have other opportunities and your day will come.

yeah I am keeping a positive attitude. I will not wait six months to reapply as the letter I got said to reapply when the window opens. Maybe the HR filters will grab me up again and I will give it my best again. Good luck to everyone out there!

Hang in and don't beat yourself up over it. I know two guys that participated in hiring at my airline and they would tell you it's not a fair or predictable process.Best advise is to be yourself and not try be what you think they are looking for.
