Great news! I'm curious what the projected AA hiring number would be. I'd imagine that there was a huge number of AA retirements right before the bk.

Somebody told me that there were fewer than 800 applicants on file for LCC hiring. I had also heard that UA/CAL had over 8000 applicants on file.

You sir, are an idiot

A little off topic- Does US Airways still use flight cases or are all the Jepps/Manuals electronic or have an aircraft set?

Ship sets, except for the 330s and a handful of 319s. They have efbs.

The MOUgasms that have followed the passage of a very mediocre agreement tell me one thing: A Nic inclusive contract would have passed by a wide margin even with only a slight improvement to the Kirby proposal. The east's conscience was getting to them and the despreately want this behind them.

But I guess we'll never know and they have lost the chance to rebuild fences with the west.

There are a few more than 800 apps. Last I heard about a year ago was over 4000.

Brilliant- especially since you don't know to you punctuation at the end of a sentence.

The 800 applicant number was given to me by two credible sources in the hiring program. And yes, that was before the announcement was made, regarding the merger (November time frame). Basically, I was told that if you were met the quals for what they wanted, you'd get the call for an interview.

Re-read your first sentence and ask yourself if you should be giving literacy advice, moron

Oh really? I work in the training department also so why don't you shoot me a PM with the names of your credible sources in the training department. I'll ask them myself the accuracy of your statement. I work directly with People Scout and I'll validate with hard numbers that your previous post is 100% inaccurate and that you are again, a moron.
