Third!!! The motion for only Usairways calls passes! Take the arguments to another thread and have fun. let the people who are teying to get the information they seek have it without the jibber jabber!!!

It's been roughly 4 weeks since my buddies interview. Anyone else a hear anything or is a few weeks out from their interview

That's seems to be the common theme....5 weeks for a "yes" call. Can anyone speak for the dreaded "no" call? How long are those taking? I have heard three weeks from a gentleman who interviewed at the beginning of the year.

It's all over the map. 3-6 weeks for no calls. Maybe sooner. I've heard Yes calls in as little as a day or two from guys who interviewed late 2012.

What are they telling people as far as the amount of classes and how often they will be run?

I was told by the director of training last week they got the approval to hire an addition 238 pilots this year. US Airways that is. American? not sure

Rumor is American may hire off the street in the Fall.
This would be in addition to US Air hiring.

Great news! I'm curious what the projected AA hiring number would be. I'd imagine that there was a huge number of AA retirements right before the bk.

Somebody told me that there were fewer than 800 applicants on file for LCC hiring. I had also heard that UA/CAL had over 8000 applicants on file.

If that's true, I know half of them the way my cell phone has been blowing up since the merger announcement.
