Finally paid off that 72 pinto eh?
I bet those payments were killing you!
Must be weird driving a car older than you!

'06 Focus, actually. Nowhere near your Bentley Arnage Red Label, but, you know, I drive what I can afford. I do also own a '79 Mercedes that's only a few years younger than me. No, I don't feel weird driving it.

As a Delta North pilot, I can say I'm really not impressed with the Comair pilots and their attitude.

If by bad attitude you mean not being willing to be a suckup, I'll take that as a compliment.

Which one do you use to tow around your trailer, um, I mean your home?:laugh:

1.You cashed those profit sharing checks when you were at ASA...why didn't you donate them to the poor Delta pilots?

:bawling::bawling:

2. Mainline pay and benefits have been cut in half over the past 10 years....Most of that isn't going to the regionals....
:bawling::bawling:

3. Comair is owned by Delta....It's the same company.....of course DALPA is the one that argued that they are separate.....
:bawling::bawling:

Don't forget the real #1 reason:
4. I'm JoeMerchant, and I can't get hired anywhere because of my shabby background, and it is all ALPA's fault.

And the response:

Let me think about this for a second----UMMMM NO. Scope relief? RJs have ruined this industry. And, again, we supposedly will be profitable this year---primarily because oil is a lot cheaper than last year.

Bye Bye---General Lee
No scope relief? Didn't Moak just budge already on that. I don't know if you guys got something for that budge, but that is what you guys always do. You guys give just a little on scope to cover your a@@es then before you know it regionals are flying 73's for you guys. they already fly dc9's for you guys. DL pilots will move to allow 100 seats by next year.

We didn't have a say in the scope relief given by our MEC Chair Moak this last time. HAD we had a say, doubtful it would have happened. A lot of the Delta South guys that didn't care retired with their lump sums. And, the same number of seats allowed that was FORCED upon us during BK is still the allotted number. That has not gone up, and will not. Now that we have the milliatant North boys (I say that with affection BTW), it will be tougher to pass things that are borderline, and that is a good thing.

Bye Bye--General Lee

The union should know by now that any scope relief will end up with a mutiny. I wouldn't be surprised to see a decertification drive if the above was entertained. I'm grateful for our new Northern brothers when it comes to union business.

Yes you most certainly did have a say. It's called your vote, and Delta south types keep voting Lee "rj's are good for Delta" Moak into office. How long has he been there despite his scope givebacks??
