Winter? Oh yeah, I forgot. Living here in Paradise, er... San Diego you tend to forget about snow and stuff. It was 70 something degrees today and perfect convertable weather. My vote is to ask the moderators move all of our liberal friend's ranting incoherant posts over to the non-aviation section and let him rant and rave over there all he wants. It's time to continue discussing "The life as a corporate pilot."AA717driver said:Yep. It really is stupid. But, that's what you get in Winter...TC
LS, there you go with that Liberal business again. It's only incoherent because the raw contents of the information is well past any comprehension level which you posess. If there is something you do not understand, which is simply the case here, maybe you should read and listen and maybe learn something instead of knocking it.Lead Sled said:Winter? Oh yeah, I forgot. Do I think that the airport authority will allow competition against Jim's Air? No, they're a bunch of LIBERALS. Why did they build a parking garage there? Because they are a bunch of LIBERALS. That's why we avoid SAN like the plague - there's no one over there but a bunch of LIBERALS. We fly out of San Diego's CONSERVATIVE airports - Gillespie and Carlsbad.SCT said:I was in SAN last week. Do you think the port authority will ever allow competition against Jim's Air? Those people are highway robbery! I do like San Diego, though. We stayed at the Hilton Gas Lamp and had a nice night on the town. I hope to catch a Padres game sometime next spring. Why did they allow them to build the parking garage on the end of 27.

I'll look forward to it and we'll flip to see who buys.AA717driver said:Sled--We get into CRQ every so often. I'll give you a heads up--I'll buy! TC
P.S.--Not shovelling here in the Heartland--it's just bone-chilling COLD!
I'm hoping that you mis-spoke or mis-typed that. There ain't no such thing as part 91 charter and there's probably no quicker way to run a foul with the Feds than to try to pull it off. I'll second what Bender Gonzales posted.flyingnome said:I will look into both of those companies, I am hoping that my current boss gets moving on putting me on the insurance for his E90 King Air that he runs part 91 charter with...

Hopefully he's got a P135 AOC and you mispoke. Otherwise there's not much quicker way to face certificate action than running an illegal charter.

It provides excellent experience operating in the IFR system. You will learn decision making. You'll learn when to say the word, "No.".
Really outstanding experience that is invaluable to someone with around 1200 hours. After a year or two doing that you'll find yourself to be qualified and confident to pursue whatever direction your career takes you.
