I believe over the last few months, SWAPA has been pressuring management to complete the integration by 12/31/2014. That way SWAPA captures the maximum number of Captain seats for their pilots. There is a chance that on January 1, 2015, there will be no former AirTran pilots that are in the left seat. Of course, the January 2015 Captain vacancy bid (and probably the next 2-3 years worth of Captain vacancy bids after that) will be primarily filled by former AirTran pilots.

SWA management has come out recently and told Wall Street and the Southwest/AirTran employees that they intend to complete the AirTran integration by 1/1/2015.

SWAPA is simply asking SWA to complete the integration as per the agreement.

The arrogance and greed of the AAI MEC and the like minded minority of AAI pilots (many vocal on FI) cost the AAI pilots millions...They had NO RIGHT to deny the mbrship the right to vote on SIA #1...foolish pride that almost led to non integration.

Still curious- have you upgraded yet? Or how many more of our airframes do you need to take delivery before it's your "turn"?

If the lawsuit goes to trial I think it will be eye opening to the Airtran pilots. (assuming what I think occurred actually transpired) The levels of deception are undeniable in my opinion. When one MEC rep tells you one thing, and another tells the complete opposite and allege the other is not being honest, there is a problem. How anyone can disagree with that is baffling. Im not in the lawsuit but I would love to see the entire story told. I believe that AC and CJ will have a rekindling of a fire that will be much hotter and uglier than 2011. We may see...time will tell.
