Seeing how SWA botched this one, SWA, SWAPA and the true believers actually thought that you could buy F9 out of bankruptcy, ignore A-M, furlough the F9 employees and only interview them on an as need be basis, that it's obvious who knows nothing about mergers and acquisitions.

Kelly and SWAPA were OPEN and honest with F9, they told them what they intended to do. Republic has said some things too... The F9 guys didn't (do not) believe one word from Southwest but buys 100% of what Bedford says. I find this very interesting.

No, as FDJ said, what's obvious is that you don't have a clue about how contracts and statutes affect integrations in this industry. Until you do, you're not likely to see any mergers OR acquisitions in your future.

Ok...go read A-M. It says "Fair" integration. That's it. It doesn't say "relative seniority". Do you understand yet?? Plus it doesn't provide any language for the employees, only pilots.

No, it's what SWAPA wanted to do. The fact that it was illegal and an end-run around the McCaskill-Bond regulations didn't matter to them. If you feel any bankrupt company should be stapled, tell me how you feel about USAirways maneuvers over the last four years.

It wasn't an end run. It was a bid offer. Swa was going to purchase F9 only with a pre-purchase agreement between SWAPA and fapa. Basically it was fapa's choice to take it or leave it and fapa choose to leave it. There was nothing "illegal" about it. btw, you know nothing about what SWAPA "wanted to do".
