Wow, your international route flying must be FANTASTIC GL, especially those great trips you can hold. Long overnight legs followed by a morning nap in a hotel, over priced dinner, then more sleep (maybe), then another long leg back to ATL. How exciting ! Crossing the "pond" isn't all that hard is it, especially if they can train an ex-Brasilia driver to do it. But then again doesn't DL lead the industry in NA track busts almost every year ?

I think it is FANTASTIC that all your "Delta Connection" regionals get to fly all those routes that management doesn't trust mainline to fly to anymore. I flew MD-88 there for many years. YYZ and YUL were some fun layovers - who flies those now? Some CRJ for somebody. I know - just business right, just like all those domestic cities that are now exclusive RJ's. I'm sure it's FANTASTIC for those RJ crews. Not so FANTASTIC for my buds who were furloughed due to lame scope in DL contract. Glad it's FANTASTIC in the E concourse. Not so FANTASTIC elsewhere. My domestic DL buds would kill for my 3/2/3 leg 20 + hour for pay, max 10 hour duty day 3 days trips at SWA by the way. Please feel free to post a 3 day MD-88 trip on here if you'd like to truly compare GL. Oh, I didn't think so. I think most of our 3-days pay more than your ER 3 days day for day too by the way.

Thank GAWD you left DL and went to SWA, where you may make more money for the time being (nobody knows the future, except SWAPA???). Also, you can do the same type of flying at SWA that you did on the MD88---and never really did see the "E Concourse." Wow, your DL buds would kill to have your 3/2/3 legger? You must be the number 1 FO somewhere, because NOT ALL TRIPS at SWA are even close to that. How do I know? I have friends at SWA (believe it), and they complain about being tired. They would KILL to have 1 leg to Rome, 24 hours there eating good food, and then one leg back--all worth 20 hours too. Can you believe it? No, you can't, because you ONLY flew the MD88 at DL, and never tried the INTL stuff. It is a totally different airline. Things can't be broken when you go across the pond. We get better food, and we get to see great places on DL dime----not West Texas like you do. And guess what chief? You have another 30 years to see every one of those cities, again, and again. Enjoy it pal. If I want to go back to domestic, I will. It is great to have a choice---which is totally FANTASTIC.

I don't know, sounds like you keep track of that type of stuff. Wow, I am impressed.......not. My flights across the pond or down South are a bit more fun than you suggest. You must be "Debbie Downer." Goodnight Debbie, and make sure you "do Dallas" right---Love Field that is.....
