Trying to dial in these two times. I recall setting 1700RPM as the threshold to record engine time. For the life of me I can't figure out where I did that. I want Engine Hours to behave like Tach Time and Total hours to behave as Hobbes time. Problem is I'm pretty sure the Flight Time in the Flight Log is time airborne. So is Total Hours the same as Flight Time?

Howe do I config the G3X to Behave as Tach time and Hobbes time? The manual is cxrap on this question. I searched "time" and didn't get ahead on it.

There are several options for for configuring how airframe hours and engine hours are recorded. I don't know which manual you looked at but it seems to be clear enough in the G3X Touch Installation Manual.

Read

30.4.32.32 Engine Time Configuration

and

30.4.32.34 Total Airframe Time Configuration

then come back if you have questions.

I had no reason to change the engine and airframe time logging configuration that was set before delivery of my FX-3.

Welp, I was in the users manual. Thanks, added this installation manual to my docs.
