Life's too short for Golf...

Greetings!

Count me in for a towel, golf or otherwise, Tred. Hat, T-shirt, whatever. Thanks for your time doing this! Let's just stay away from monogrammed Speedos. I think that might stretch the concept a little much (so to speak).

Congrats on the class date, Freak! I've been out of town doing that job that we do, but I got your message the other day and will call soon. Great news! By the way, do not mourn the sale of your golf clubs. You're better off without the infernal things anyway. And Christmas presents are overrated anyway....wrap up a few pine cones and styrofoam cups for the kids; they'll never know the difference anyway ;)

I too spoke with LL last week...she mentioned I would be pretty solidly in the third class (#29 on the list). Great news...here's hoping for Feb 8th or so. I can't wait to get to DAL to sample the Wild Turkey with all y'all.

I'm in for the golf towel!

Some day when we're drinking beer at the SWA golf tourney, you'll shank one into the cactus, see that towel, and remember that things could be worse. Plus, maybe you won't set a new PR in the club toss!! Not that I would ever commit any of the above acts,... ever,... seriously.

Pool Rat Towel and T-shirt

Count me in. As a stay-at-home dad the towel would make a fine burb rag after I get done feeding my ten week old. Plus in a couple of months I'm going to start his golf lessions so he can become the next Tiger Woods...in case this pool never drains. I would love a T-shirt too. Thanks Pinto
 
Towel Orders....

OK - so far we have 31 orders for Pool Rat towels. I am going to close the order process on Nov 23rd so I can get these in your hands BEFORE Jan 1st. Several folks have mentioned wanting to take the towel to school in DAL for show and tell...:cool:

Put me down for a towel (or T-shirt if us towel types lose the poll). I'm #134 on the list and LL said I'd probably be the 11th class. Now, whether that class is in June or some point in the distant future, who knows. Hope I don't need a towel that says 2002-2003, class in 2004. ouch.

I hope to be able to afford golf sometime in the future, but for now my brother-in-law has been taking me for a sympathy round every once in awhile. Seeing as he is a 3yr United pilot he kidded with me that I may need to return the favor....hopefully not.

The design is being finalized tomorrow, the order will be placed on Dec 1st. No check by Dec. 1st, no Pool Rat accessories!

Yea, Yea - I can hear it now..... I don't EVEN know my own address... etc., etc..... guilty as charged.

For those of you who HAVE NOT sent your checks... please change the street address to 965. Yea, NOT 985.

IF - your check is sent back, sorry, please change number to 965 - mail it back to the Bonehead Pool Rat CEO. I'll extend the deadline to December 5th to pick up any stragglers due to MY error!!!

Still should have all items in your hot little hands by Jan 3rd-4th.

For those who did not give up the Flightinfo name - I am having a hard time checking you off the list/matching your "Real" name up with your order via PM.....

As I COMPLETLY understand the need for anonimity - you could PM me your ZIP code - (from your shipping address) so I can match up the envelopes with names/screen names. THANKS - this will greatly help figure out the list!!!!:D So far NO ONE has been from the same towns, not even close....

Orders...? Checks???

I have indications for 46 people wanting to order either option A or B.... yet I have only recv'd 16 checks???

I am sure my address snafu had something to do with this + the Thanksgivign holiday messing up the flow of mail - as stated before - deadline has been extended to December 6th - get your checks in the mail or miss out on your Pool Rat wear!!!:D

Hey Tred, I tried to PM you but your box is full!
UH OH,
I did in fact mail my check for 22.70 to EXACTLY the address you sent (postmarked on 21 NOV), but I just got back from a 4 day today and found that it got returned by the post office. It was stamped "Return to sender: Undeliverable as addressed". So I'm not sure if the post office made some huge mistake, or if any other people had the same problem.
Anyway, I was wondering if there was still some way to get this check back out in the mail, though if it's too late I understand.
Let me know what you think.

Towel and T-Shirt

I just received my returned check with the mark of "return to sen der, undeliverable as addressed." I am going to resend it today, with the correct address and hope I make the December 6th cutoff. But, please know I am still interested in receiving both.
 
Laying by the pool...

Man, what a MESS!!

I am sunning by the pool at an undisclosed Mexican resort.... NO ,I did NOT cash the checks to finance the trip!!:D

The order is ready to place, but since I am bonehead, I will wait until all of your checks are resent to the correct address...
