I do believe you will need the passport for simulator training, I think its part of the FAA/TSA requirements.

SWA want's a copy of it the first day of class or at least they did for my class.

Just spoke with Diane in the PD and she told me I should be in the next class after the June 25 class. My pool date is July 27. She also told me they are gearing up to start interviewing again in the next couple of months. No sooner than I got off the phone with Diane I got a "poolie" update email saying they now plan on hiring at least 350 total this year.

I know some people had asked about when they send you for a drug test in earlier posts and Diane told me to go today.

If 350 for the year, how many of those are from the pool? Is that mostly all from the pool, or was the pool less than 350 by January?

How soon out does PD start notifying people for interviews?

I beleive that there was 376 in the pool at the begining of this year. After the June classes there should be 179 poolies left, at most. However, that number would be slightly reduced for those who had turned down a class with SWA.
