Around December (prior to age 65 deal), I was told by PD that I was about 65-70 on the list. Just before the April classes, I figured I was about 33-38. Hope that helps.

Looks like you're math is probably about right. I read that PD went through 20 poolies to get 13 for the Feb class. So if historical trends hold true, looks like you might make the April 23 class, with a little help. Hang in there bud, it'll be worth it for us in the end. Hope it works out for you and that I see you in class in April.
 
A couple quick questions...

Rush100, I didn't see you on The Unofficial List as a June 9th Poolie (I could of overlooked it though); Feel free to ADD/EDIT your alias to The Unoffical List.

MJG, any word on all those SW Poolies above and below you? (I believe some of them are from your
Type Rating or Interview group. Wonder how many of them are still hanging in there).

Only two of them are from my type class. Don't know about the others. Those two poolies are waiting patiently as far as I know.

There is a chance that one or two of the 6/17 poolies are duplicates.
 
A bit more info:

I spoke with Ronna in PD a week ago. She said I (6/10 pool date) would most likely be in the first class after the April classes. She said I was about 9 deep in the post-April group...meaning if 10 people defer or drop out, then I could sneak into the last April class.

Based on the Dec. email list of poolies, subtracting the Jan and Feb classes, and 48 poolies for the 2 april classes, I had myself figured at #19 on the list. So...that tells me we lost 10 somewhere, and that was before the calls started going out for the april classes. Maybe I'll get lucky.

Looking forward to words from the 4/23 folks.
 
guys coming back when?

Probably here somewhere and I missed it. What class has the guys coming back? How many of them were there and do they have a shorter training period?
 
The wait in the pool was so hard. However, this place is so much better than I imagined. Good luck to all who are patiently waiting and earnestly hoping!
 
I wanted to hear what you guys think about the people that deferred or skipped a class. Are they unable to do it now or have they moved on and are not in line any more? If so what kind of numbers are you guessing it to be?
 
anyone have a good guess on how low the pool would have to get before PD starts interviewing again? 50 poolies? 100 poolies? 200 poolies? thanks-

Re-read his post...it says the 2 April class has THE over 60 guys...not the 2 April class has over 60 guys.

You might want to get your money back from that speed reading class you took...
 
Well the calls to the April 23 class are supposed to go out this week, but unfortunately we are not going to get too much information on this thread. The only person on the unofficial FI list that is in the next 24 on the real poolie list is ballgag. Best that I have been able to figure is that 1 or 2 need to defer class before I get a call. Ronna told me to call her later in the week. So if anyone knows of someone in this next group of 24, or you find out that calls are going out.. let us know.... See y'all in Dallas ..... somtime...
