PD just called and told me to get a drug test. Said to expect a phone call within a week or so. When I asked about class, they said I am at the very top of the 2nd poolie class (23 Apr). Didn't specify because they said I could move up to the first poolie class. Great news guys.....good luck to all! I'll pass along more info as I get it.

One good thing...

One thing I noticed that seems to be constant with all of the phone conversations between me and the PD is that they keep emphasizing that our position in class and the pool itself is not certain because they said they have and still anticipate some guys not being able to make it to class sad as that may be, we could move up! So they don't want to tell us "our number in class or the pool" until all phone calls have gone out to see who will accept a class date. And that was talking to 3 different folks there, and they all said this.

Got a phone call yesterday. It was PD; told me to go take pee test for possible late April class:beer:. Of course I couldn't just settle for this basic information, so here is what I got out of em'.

Class dates for April are: 2, 9, 23 These are of course subject to change, as with anything in this world. First class, filled with old timers. Apparently, there is some concern about many of these guys getting medicals in time for class??.. Last two classes filled with 24 poolies in each. Looks like from what I can figure last guy in last class in April will be a June 6-10 poolie.....somewhere in that range.

After April classes, nothin til early fall......:crying:

Thanks guys! Talked to PD today and they said that their goal was to talk to everyone by tommorow (Friday) so that the official "you have a class date" phone calls can go out by next week, since we have less than 30 days before the 9 Apr poolie class! They said they need to see who may defer these 2 classes so they can come up with the finalized order and number of poolies in the classes!

FYI, Gina and Sandy have been tasked to the MX recruiting team, they are no longer dealing with pilot poolies. Of course they will still take your call and chat or answer questions...... Ronna Jackson is the new poolie contact: 214-792-4374. She is the one making the calls for drug screens for the upcoming classes. She is the contact for ALL poolies now.

Just spoke to PD this afternoon. They said they hadn't finished contacting the rehires yet and were hoping to finish doing so by Monday. After that, they'll start calling poolies. If nothing changes, I was told I'm falling right in the middle of the 23 April class with a 6/02 pool date. Hope that helps some of you figure out where you're at.
