Let me also say that I am with you guys. I agree that you could probably be paid a little more. I think that you are going about it the wrong way. DNIF's, fatigue calls "just to make a point" to the company is not the way to get things done.
Like I told dispatcher, there is nothing but contempt for the pilot group. Management has instilled this in their fearful and impressionable minds.

You should be scared sh!tless NJAcrewservicer. No one in their right mind would hire you in aviation with your position on safety. In case you weren't aware, being fatigued is similar or worse than being intoxicated. You should be thankful that some crews are able to recognize fatigue or as others have pointed out, a smoking hole is an alternative. How much Sh!t could your panties hold then?

The rest of the NetJets employees are going to realize real soon that they ARE INDEED involved in this. The Company is trying to scare the living heck out of them...BTW...why did the Company pull their version of the recent conttract talks from the Crew OPs Web site????? Maybe they realized that their lies were to grand.

If the non-union employees think that they are safe just because they are non-union they are in for a rude awakening. There were many non-union employees at Eastern that were effected by the strike. I remember walking the line on March 10, 1989 in PHL.

There's no reason the folks in the Casino should be thinking they are safe.....despite what BB told them....they have as much to lose as we do.
I'm ready to go all the way.....no one, except my Union Brothers and Sisters is going to be looking out for my best interrest. I'm not going to fall on my sword for anyone in CMH.

OOPS... here I was thinking the this last offer was a bad deal....

I forgot to add in the value of all the EXTRA HILTON POINTS we'll be getting because of the extra 37 work days we'll be spending in Hotels instead of home!

The company forgot to make me pay for that out of my paycheck!

i was offended by crewservice guys comments and i don't work for a frac. you should have compensation that is on par with nbaa. however once that happens your company will be less competitive. especially with all the overhead in your operation (like crewserviceguy), ergo -he is no dummy and sees what the consequences would be. :)

Less competitive with 70% market share? How do you figure? Accelerated growth and earnings, that is a shareholders dream. Excuse me while I go shop for my new "Toys", I can't afford a house.

Semperfido, yes there would be consequences. They'd have to stop playing their shell game with the profits, perhaps. The NJA pilots could stop subsidizing other NJ Inc. pilots in the start up companies like NJE. Yes, growth might be slowed to a RESPONSIBILE rate instead of financed at the sacrifice of NJA pilots' hard-earned wages. I would also expect to see NJ Inc. stop collecting outrageous sums for oil and $300 ramp fees (they don't pay elsewhere) from NJA.

what will happen to your market when you can no longer do a traditional flight depts role cheaper? some customers may ask themselves that same question. you have a lot of overhead to compensate for. :)

Fido, for that statement, your stock in my eyes just went up. Thank you.

I don't think we are cheaper. But with the way things are going now (not enough planes or pilots) raising rates might allow this company to catch up.
