I got a friend out in the Hill Country who collected some out of court settlement monies when a certain company thought they had their ducks in a row. I wonder what company that was?

Boy does he have a nice house now.

I have spoken with several of our pilots and everyone agrees that the pay raise is fair and the package is a great starting point. Therefore, why would we be ignorant and actually make a stand that would lead to our unemployment. ..........



However, should we all lose our jobs because of it? I don’t think so and I don’t think that is what the 70 pilots would want us to do.

He might be a mole. But, I don't think he is. He is only looking out for himself as he always has. He has never understood the concept of a united group. It amazes me that he is still employed here with his sexist views and treatment of female pilots. He is the type that needs a union safety net to keep his job!
I talked with him over a year ago and explained the dues issue to him and told him that he is responsible as a member to seek information and stay informed. He is still using the same weak argument today, so don't buy it! I know he doesn't care about our brothers and sisters on the street. Furthermore, anyone that doesn't support them getting their jobs back immediately does not earn the right to call them their brothers and sisters.

That wasn't meant as an insult. It was simply an observation of your experience in management.

When it comes to insults, you and the rest of your union membership love to insult me, and it's rare if ever do I bother to respond. It's the union way, always has been always will be.

So far bringing the union on to the property at Flight Options have cost a couple hundred people their jobs, and before it's over my guess is that it's not over yet.

Insult away there bunny..... it's the only way union bullies know how to behave.

I hope that the MEC is keeping the letters that were recently sent (ie: from EM), and requested to be made public.
When this place goes down the tubes, as small as this industry is, I am sure future pilot co-workers would want to know how he might negatively affect their livelihoods.
...and UM.... since when does a "merit based" system REWARD a pilot for starting engines with covers on and not even telling the co all day? Yeeahhh. Funny how these people on FlightInfo AND IBT all come out of the woodwork for the first time "together". With all that payola, between them & F & H, they would have been better off just paying a proper wage to their pilots. Typical of this company though to step over a dollar to save 5 cents. :nuts:

Right and wrong? Your greedy and ineffective union just helped to put over 200 innocent employees out of work.

Can some one explain what all the urgency is now with all of these e-mails from FLOPS management and their stooges wanting us to accept this proposal ( I won't call it an offer since it is missing all the details)?

Is there something going on at FLOPS that they are in a panic to get this done by the end of the month?


We have waited over 2 years, what is another month or two to make sure that we get a real contract.

We even have some fool on the union site wanting to place this proposal to a vote!!!!
Apparently he doesn't know that he will get to vote when we get a TA.

The union didn't fire those people. Management did. I will "whine" all I want until those people are rightfully re-instated.

So does that mean that a corporate flight department that has a 135 certificate (like GE, or Coke, or Johnson & Johnson) is an airline too? Riiiiight..... (Looks like the story has an epilogue).

There isn't a union in the world that has given up pay and/benefits to protect the bottom third of a seniority list or fired pilots.

To the union, they are simply the cost of doing business. Always have been, always will be.

Dig your feet in, scream, yell and say whatever you want, the union has failed you at Flight Options to this point. Those guys are toast, and the decision to place a union on the property is in large part responsible for their job losses.

Three years of turmoil, a stagnant airline with no growth and now a failing economic environment, and it's clear, your union didn't get it done.

These guys are gonna "show" those managers, just like the Eastern guys did.

I can only imagine what the boards are going to write about me when it goes down as I said it would.

Not a single person on these boards will ever admit "they got what they asked for!"

Could someone please pm me with b19's old user name? He used to post on all the Comair threads. He claimed to work for Comair and went on and on about how we should roll over for management. Some body out there has to remember his old CP. He ended up getting banned, by the way.
