Heard this the other day, makes sense.

Horizon only owns 2 CRJ 700s. The rest are leased.

I wouldn't be surprised if a deal is cut already. That would explain why our management is running around telling everyone not to panic, nothing is going to happen very soon. Yeah...right. They're trying to stave off a big jump in attrition as anyone with someplace to go punches out of this joint before the giant flush.

I can't believe with a net loss of as many as 17 aircraft over the next two years, management has still got a new-hire class on the books. What a bunch of boobs. Anyone showing up for a new hire class at Horizon in the near future should immediately be subject to a reasonable suspicion (or whatever it's called) drug test.

Like...

Dorky...maybe. But you wouldn't believe how such useless knowledge can come in handy in the dispatch world. Inside the brain of every good 'spatcher lives an encyclopedia of dorky knowledge that can help the movement of the operation.

Like how to spank that little puppy using tweezers!

I've heard lots of fiber can be useful for your "movement" too!

Yet another post title with rumor presented as fact.

Sorry to say it, but that is THE most annoying thing on this board.

That's not what your mother said last night. Suck it, Trebek.

I mean, really...how lame do you have to be where small penis jokes are your default response? If you really want to hang (no pun intended), intelligent and obscure is where it's at.

and another amen

You're probably not interested in hearing that a Teamster voodoo priest performed a ritual on board one of the jets that will result in SKW being organized a year to the day after said jet arrives on the property.

I'm not the dork. The GD serial number is right on the nose of the friggin airplane.

but with your 1500 hours and your CRJ student type yo know all. Correct?

Besides my airplane is bigger than yours.

Actually the serial number is located on the data plate on the bottom of A/C behind the cargo door. Look at that little plate near the tail skid - can't remember the technical term;)

The number on the front of the aircraft is not the serial number.

With exception of the repaints into the new Delta livery and the Midwest birds, SkyWest has a a/c serial/cert. number on the nose in addition to the tail number in back as can be seen here on N719SK.
