chq contract
To all you guys and gals who think our contract is a sell out. First of all we came from almost nothing to having a something that is great. We have great schedules (average 14-17 days off) no junior man, multiple days of holiday pay, always an end of the year bonus, commuter clause that actually works for us and is honored by the company and another great thing is your a Captain in a year. Oh yeah we signed our contract last october and it's up for renegotiation in about 2 years. Have you guys even read the contract? If not then get a copy then start throwing stones. Maybe our pay rates are not the best but guess what, Pay rates are only a fraction of the contract. Quality of life is good. Yeah, first year 170 rates are not great but there are not any first year captains. Use your brains people. Put the money where the pilots are. It's a common concept in figuring pay scales. So what if first year rates are 1 dollar an hour. All that counts is that the guy with 10 to 15 years of seniority that is flying the airplane is getting compensated fair. Every pilot group is different. You cannot compare us to ya'll. I wish we could, and I hope you guys get better than us. But it's always going to be like this until all the regionals get together and drop their current representation and somehow form an union that represents all of us together, for example a Regional Airline Pilots Association. That way we would not have to be bickering over who the sell out is. Good luck hope you guys get 85 per hour like you say you will. Don't be the next sell outs, but you will see it's not as easy as you think it is. You want to hear something just as ridiculous as us being sell outs then what about you guys doing major airline routes is an XR. Your selling out the majors. Yeah that is ridiculous sounding just like your libel about CHQ being the retarded child of Mr Franklin and his sister. Be careful, saying such things offend someone you socially deprived fool.
