Punk rock pilots

[HMR]

Some high(low?)lights: I got booted for drinking one of John Doe's beers at an X show (I've seen them innumerable times), got arrested for fighting at a Replacements gig (expensive mistake) and been showered in spit, front row, watching Stiff Little Fingers. All before I turned 18.

I haven't heard any "punk" I like in awhile.

Just went to a violent femmes concert about 3 weeks ago- they ROCKED!!!! Not bad for a couple of old dudes.

I saw the Femmes last year. I think they played the same set from the first time I saw them Still great...I almost forgot about Fugazi and Bad Brains. Good thread!

Back in high school, just after dinosaurs were snuffed, I was the only kid in Nowhere, NC with albums (these were large round vinyl discs that played on a thing called a 'turntable'....

wait, are you talking about those black cd's? i've seen a few in antique shops, but i have no idea how to get them to fit in my car stereo system....
