WARNING: The following comments are all rumors!

But, I'll share them anyway. There was talk of basing a JR managed gulfstream in Delaware. However, we currently do not have any aircraft in Delaware on the JR side.

Also, the gulfstreams are "staffed up" I think. We've been told that at least for a while, there will be no mechanism for bidding across certificates. So, I assume at first that means no Falcon 50 for JR pilots, and no Gulfstreams for PA pilots.

Does PA have something going on there? You mentioned maintenance.

"Imagine being whisked away to Delaware! Hi... I'm in Delaware...."
There is talk of it being a Maintenance base and a base for the Gulfstreams don't quote me on the G's but I am sure something will be there if it is to happen. There is a big Maintenace facility already there for Falcons if I remember correct. That makes it a good loction for aircraft on the east coast or any aircraft running up and down the east coast to stop in for maint.

Since we are talking rumors and only rumors I heard that the larger aircraft will be on one certificate most likely the JR and the Lears all moved over to PA. If this has any truth it will take some time months to move the planes and crews in which ever dirrection they are to go. This is only rumor

Someone said there might be some 30 and or 60 series being put in DE. I was told we are putting our own mx base there, Are you guys saying Dasault already has a service center there? I think you all have been watching to much "Waynes World". Your welcome to post some of your own ideas here also, lol. Just looking for a change of senery. I have a sailboat fetish, so that would be a good area for me.

As for the discussion about going to falcons and gulfstreams. A few pages back there were some post about argus and how you already have to have time on type (50 hours) Is this still going to be a factor, or Is argus going to be dropped with the skyjet contracts?

There is a Falcon service center at Wilmington and there are two 60's at Atlantic Aviation that are operated on Atlantics certificate. As for Skyjet , how can PA survive without them? They have been the life blood of the company since its existence.

Wayne Campbell seemed to think it was somewhat "uneventful" to be in Delaware.

I'd call it the Iowa of the east coast. I didn't know they had colleges in Delaware?

This is also rumor based on conversations I have had with management.

I think the idea in the long run is to build our own retail business. Possibily have our own card system etc. Before they can do this they would have to get all the ducks in a row. There is more money on the retail end. The idea would be to streamline the fleet, most likely to a few types except for managed aircraft. Base them in a similar model to what Jetride currently has. Then when everything is in position start pushing the retail end with marketing etc. Once you start doing this Skyjet will not longer use you for contracts anyways. Because now we would be direct competition.

I have also heard the rumor of shuffleing aircraft types back and forth between cirtificates. My guess is they haven't decided what will be sent where. 10+ seats vs <10 seat was one mentions to me, as well as managed vs. non managed etc. all sorts of ways you could do it.

Sounds like Tuesday is definately the day however.

There seems to be some confusion about Amish, here. First, there are very few Amish in Iowa. Second, Amish people don't fly jets. If you're Amish, you and I are confused!

At least we all share something in common with them, though: we all get up at 4:00AM for work a lot.

Well lets hope for me and you that that will change cause I don't get up at 4 AM all that often cause that will really suck 11 fits me much better.

I dont think my alarm will work that early. I heard Amish girls get kind of wild in bed. That would be a good science project.

During my last recurrent indoc class, D.O. was talking about getting our own jet cards, Deffinatly hinting at getting into the retail of this thing. I guess cutting out the middle man is the goal. Like I said before, These are inteligent business men running PA and JR.

Oh but we do fly airplanes.

Next time you run into a LNS crew ask to see our straw hats.
We tug our airplanes out of the hanger with mules and make our own jet A out of cow poop!! ONLY $.25 A GALLON TO PRODUCE.

Later Jakey!!

Actually rummor has it that we put in an offer to buy SkyJet.
Combined, we fly most of their trips and have quite a few airplanes on contract.

Oh and yes its true Amish Chicks are dirty girls.
I'm in the process of make a movie call Amish Girls Gone Wild! A lot of girl on girl and girl on butter churner!

WHERE IS NELSON ??????? Did he have to use a lot of lubrication to ease the BIG One he got?? I hear he enjoyed it!!!

He is at home counting his money and laughing all the way to the bank OR

He's in school until Jan. 2008 getting typed in the new Challenger, GIII, GIV, BBJ and the Space Shuttle.

I doubt he is sitting comfortably with such a big A$$hole. As the saying goes,' you piss into the wind, it will blow back on you,

Did something happen to Nelson? (I only remember his name because he has the same name as the bully on the Simpsons)

R88

Hey Jetride guys... Dispatch told me that we are getting are CC and ID badges on Mon. I've been out of the loop and didn't join in the conference call. Could someone just verify if there are any changes that will happen on Wed after the sign. Such as...

Perdiem> Are we paying for hotels or is it the old system? will the perdiem jump to 45 and 55 a day?

CC> What are we authorized to buy and not to buy?

We want to buy skyjet also? It dosent sound like a buyout of a few companies, more like a hostile take over.

My definition of a GOOD cheif pilot. He is the cheif of all the pilots which means he looks out for them. He is the middle man for the man up stairs which stands up for the pilots and their needs. He should NOT be only a order taker but also a negotiatior for better QOL. Be fair! Don't grow a big head and be a dick cause thats just not cool. Yes he's the boss but also a good boss that is looking out for his fellow pilots. I just hate when I hear these compainies that has the scary "you're gonna do what I say or else your fired" chief pilot. He needs to inforce the rules and make tough decisions. A chief pilot should fly the line and so he will know how to manage things better. But most of all, RESPECT the pilots and what's important to them... time off, pay and safety. Oh yea, I think a bonus for CP sucks cause they nickle and dime the hell out of the little guy. I hope we have a CP that we can call up and in confidence tell him something thats contrary to his ways of thinking.

Not pointing any fingers. Just my thoughts
