TSA losing 3 airplanes, the exact number of A/C used for the San Antonio Operation. Looks like GayJets just took over that flying, sure to be more on the way.

And memo to the scab that invaded the ORD crew room today to play computer games, we know who you work for when you turn your badge around.

Here is the deal:

Blowjet has 5 aircraft on property but not being used. Canadair wanted them off their property early so GJ took them. Those aircraft are to put in service: you guessed July 1st, the day that we furlough. The company has said we are losing money according to flight manager EP. So we have to park airplanes. Those airplanes that are parked will not be stationary. They will be doing test runs for GJ. From a good source, according to D hayes, if the union tries anything against management (2 union officials given their jobs back) flying would be taken away from TSA. This will be a slow process untill all UA flying is gone and we are reduced to AX only. We will have to rebid for July because there will be reduced flying.
This will be a slow death for TSA. Goodluck to all my brothers. I have nothing more to say about GJ, it's a waste of emotion. You know who you are and what you have done. There is no morality in this industry, just greed.

Who the HE11 are you anyway? And why are you on here defending G0jet all of the time?

Don't you have anything else better to do?

Did you ever think if TSH let the TSA pilots fly those airplanes there wouldn't be any furloughs? that's 48 pilots on the street with 150 g0jet pilots and counting.

This whole deal had nothing to do with ALPA national, they wanted us to sign the contract. This has everything to do with our own MEC/company and their hatred towards one another. Until they are gone nothing will go our way.

All part of the union with no vision. They get you started on this "entitlement syndrome. You think it can't happen to you well wake up its happening right now. You can stomp and cry that its unfair all you want but what are you going to do about it? Are you going to have a small pecker war(jumpseat war). Are you going to try and get the lists merged? Honestly what is your plan besides childish name calling? Again a union with no vision leading you guys right to the shredder. Its really sad that so many people can't just wake up and smell the coffee. They need to realize its 2006 not the glory days anymore.

Any what the hell is your vision. doing whatever it takes to get ahead in life. Doing whatever it takes to make money. Go look at the word integrity D! I feel sorry for the children you will raise. we've stuck to our guns, our principle. We've stoode up for what we think is right. All you do is badger people just so you feel good about yourself and bring people down to your level. This isn't about name-calling. It's about being a MAN you moron. Try it sometime you might feel good about yourself some day.

Being a man is knowing when to hold em and when to fold em. Now simply isn't the time to get greedy. Look at the position ALPA is in today because of greed. The vision of the future is this, slow steady growth on the contracts. No more outlandish demands. Concessions may have to be given to get it so alter ego airlines can no longer be started. basically the company is simply telling you what rates they can pay you. If your not willing to work for it fine but they obviously someone else who will. Thats what we call buisness. Tell me this what is ALPOs vision for the future? How do they plan on helping regionals weather this storm? Do they have any solutions besides picketing and chanting? Im simply being honest here trying to figure out if our fearless leaders even have a plan? From what I have seen they have no plan. They try the same things over and over again and it is not working. Sort of like a bad dream you never wake up from.

And I am still looking for a alter ego badge myself. Can anyone help out? Shrek?

Fresh out of them bud.....sry

The main reason this is going on is because of the union. Our union sucks. I'm sorry if I am going to take this personal but I am. Most of our union leaders have a personal agenda, (not all of them), but you got screwed by the company so you are going to "give it to them" Well last I checked you are there for the pilot group not for your personal satisfaction. I know this is corporate america and Hulas is there for the all mighty dollar but come on quit running out of meetings like a 2 year old cursing every one like a baby. We think we have the upper hand and we don't anymore we have another company half the size of us willing to work for peanuts and no work rules. Hulas made 28 million last year on Trans States I am pretty sure he is willing to make 14 million for a year while he transfers everything over. I am not saying take paycuts or reduce work rules because what we have is respectable but lets give them a reason to keep us around. If the company wants us to single engine taxi to save fuel why not, does it hurt to do a flaps 22 landing, not really. We are in charge of keeping our jobs now, screwing the company in turn is only going to screw us. I am not drinking the company kool aid but i am trying to keep a job.

Is Blow Jet still hiring while TSA puts guys on the street?

Of course they are, even captains. And the ground school instructors are doing double duty by teaching G.O.S. at G0jet, but oh wait, they work for TSH. I forgot, its two seperate companies.

I was told by our chief pilot that the company cannot "transfer" flying from one to the other. Our displacement class asked him about the San Antonio flying and he said that G0jet would have to bid on the flying, that they couldn't just transfer it over because it was awarded by United to TSA.

Whatever, when your company sucks and so does your MEC there are bound to be alot of casualties.

How do you get rid of a union if all of them are buddies and won't vote out the MEC. Didn't MESA do that with a no confidence vote.

Doing all that would require the union to act like adults. Something they really distain doing. Now there is a message with vision. ALPO should take notes on how to make a vision for the future.

There's that name calling again D. You really shouldn't talk out both side of your mouth.

You can say it. ALPA. Air Line Pilots Association. It would be the respectful thing to do since you are such a fine upstanding citizen of society.

Whatever you prefer ALPA ALPO ALPAITE. The point is what solutions have they offered you besides picket signs and name calling/chanting? Have they gave you what their future plans are to save peoples jobs?

question....by the contract, do they have to give these pilots a notice?

Yes.

I belive we must get notice (4 weeks I think?) unless it is an emergency furlough. This in my eyes is not an emergency situation.

The june 1 furloughs got two weeks to one week notices depending on how soon you could make it to the chief pilots office for the meeting.

Ok, if you have the experience you should pm swordfish to see if he will help you get an interview with Continental since his dad the chief pilot there. He has helped a lot of guys get interview just a thought.

If you are on probation don't expect to get an official notice and be prepared for the option of a voluntary furlough or termination.

The union MEC is ineffective at Trans States. Unfortunately, there is a lot of dissatisfaction on-line which I am sure is making its way back to management. This is not a good negotiating position. For the good of the pilot group, change is needed at the top levels. There are pilots willing to step up to the plate.

I'm sure the vocal few will rant and rave over this post. I ask you to question pilots on-line about their opinions before you voice yours and see what the majority feel.

Wow I feel that knife in my back again. A few days ago I heard that GJ was starting the process to put 50 seat A/C on thier certificate, then the next day we get 28 more furloughs, 14 more downgrades, and 2 parked EMB 145s...hmmm. Anyways with TSA having 48 pilots on the street and 28 Captains downgraded to FOs I dont see how anyone can say that GJs isnt hurting us.

Hey Boulevard....-- you sure seem to care alot about the TSA MEC with all your posts wil you be running for the next term as chairman? We have no power? And you do? Keep it up *************************stick-- you need to go to bed early tonight-- you have a big day tomorrow....
