That is the point. And now that it has been made, I would point out the crowe tastes pretty darn good!!! Better than expected, actually.

1) At least they landed in the right COUNTRY...unlike NWA
2) there have been known malfunctions of the parking brake control system on the 320 family aircraft, recently had one myself just "set itself" on taxi out, another flight with another crew and different aircraft, it happened again at 40kts on the initial take-off roll...
 
It happened at Pan Am Express in the 1980' when they tried to transfer hydraulic from one side to the other,...then forgot to release the brake.....all four wheels and tires had to be replaced :0

I believe this also happened in a Dash8 (piedmont?) in the late 90's early 2000's.

guess everyone screws up sometimes, just don't want to make the mistakes that will kill you (and/or others).
