The 800 is a true gentlemans airplane. The X is a slave ship but not as bad as the U boat.

The 650 was the ultimate old mans plane though.

Question: If you get hired and are given a class date, you quit your current job and go, does payroll start the first day of ground school? And are you being paid while waiting for IOE?

all pay and bennies start 1 minute after class starts.

Thanks, Diesel; just trying to get an idea if it might be a good move for me -- it sure sounds like it. From a non-unionized commuter pilot's perspective, this all seems very alien to me. (Moving expense? What are those? :D )

Be careful with accepting reimbursement of moving expenses from the company if you have any interest in using an hba eventually. If you take their money you give up the right to use an hba under the current agreement. Now granted it would be some time before you could use one anyway but you might want to keep your options open.
