As for landing, 15 and 900 makes for a nice quite appoach.

I've heard (not seen or experienced) that 35/900 is good, too.

Works quite well, as a matter of fact. There were (are?) a few who would only land props 900, and a couple who liked the 35/900 combo. You had to be aware of who was riding in back though!

Yeah, I had a friend who did it when a check airman was riding in back. I guess there was some awkward post-flight chit-chat about it.

I took a -300 into HHH on 3/18/04....N330EN, Flt. 4189, then took it right back out to CLT, same Flt #. Looking back though, that was the only time I'd ever taken one there, every other time was a -100/-200.
