I just made a quick check of my book too... over six years and never a 300 into HHH. Always a 100 or 200. Also, 15/1050 in the 300 was a NO NO for a long time.

I don't get what the big deal is flying a T-prop into Hilton Head. I've flown corporate jets into there that had Vrefs similar to the B737 . . . . pretty tame compared to some others.

Yeah, I flew with a lot of people who used 35/max for the reduced pitch attitude. I heard the latest guidance from the temple of doom is that 15/1050 is the preferred configuration. Are they recommending that for the 300 as well?

15/1050 makes it a little easier to hit the tail, I think. Personally, I don't like the way it flies at 1050, but that is just me. I've done it, don't see anything wrong with it. Just need to carry more speed to keep the nose down.

I have noticed a lot of ALG guys I fly with love to get the pitch in the -100/-200 up around 10 degrees or so... . Not my cup of tea.

.....
And why doesn't anyone use reverse...reverse thrust on this airplane is extemely effictive and if you haven't had too much coffee, you can manage how much you use before it gets incredibly loud and uncomfortable. Its cool to use every now and then...

because it isn't necessary...disc works just fine.

that makes no sence, you must of flown a dash for like a week or maybee flunked soe before you went to fly at mesa, because your statement makes you sound retarded to dash pilots

It has been stated already, but I took the might -300 in HHH on more than one trip, EWN line even. Had one of the best captains at PDT show me a short field in PGV on the West runway (forget the numbers) and turned off on the first taxiway (my last flight segment with PDT). I used reverse once, to stop short of the snow drifts

Just to puff Booker up, one of the smartest and best pilots flying pax right now, might wanna think twice about comming down on him for anything he says.
