No but I imagine that stupid Island Air thread on the regional page is pretty close to the longest...God knows why it's never been killed off. Might as well just start their own forum..."Unhappy Hawaiian Pilots" or "1 million reasons to b!tch about GoJets".

I'm getting paid in euros now, and have been getting pay raises every day! If I'm lucky enough to get on with NJ, then that will ease my transition.

as someone who flies for a company that does nothing to make the pilots lives easier, I can agree that all of the things you're talking about in this thread would make life easier for most....

I am sorry you're not excited about the 25 bay, world class, training facility or the new A/C, or the new interiors with all the toys, or the step program for captains, or the Electronic Flight Bags, or any of the other stuff that is coming. That is sad for you. I came from a far less prosperous company, where any one of these would be massive and incredibly good news. If you are so jaded to see just how good things are, compared to the rest of the industry, or any other industry for that matter,... well that is just sad.

I am as excited about Netjets as you are. Nothing but good things to say. However, none of the big developments you hyped up were unknown to the pilot group. They talked about the EFB's, the NJ campus, the new interiors, etc. at recurrent for months. It's all great but well known. The only news was that we are building in CMH instead of RDU. Not exactly worth ten pages of buildup.

If NJs is confident enough in this economy to spend $200 million for a training center, then hopefully our job security is worth making our job better and easier. At least not stressing out about losing our jobs in the near future.

S&S, good points! GSD, I thought you and I had a very down to earth conversation about the uniforms... Maybe it wasn't riveting, but it was friendly. Seriously, guys, building camaraderie--a post at a time--is important for all our futures. The more the two halves of NetJets can begin to feel like one pilotgroup now the smoother the transition will be later. IBB proved that there's much more to be gained from working together as one team. And practice makes perfect, remember...

Its all about PR. Airlines are hiring, growing and adding more planes till they are furlouging and parking planes.

I'm glad to hear we are once again going over the same goals that we've heard time and time again but with more fanfare this time. Yippeee
