Very major things coming to Netjets soon. Announcements will be coming soon.

I promised I wouldn't tell and i am a man of my word. However, I can say it is really cool and very good. You will see.

If you don't have your resume in yet you better hurry up.

I love this place and it just keeps getting better.:D

What do ya got?? come on, cough it up bro....

I got it, we get a cookie for every smooth landing

New schedules only working every third tuesday of the month?? ;)

Dumping Teamsters Maybe?
Crystal ball says that will happen but not what he is talking about. Done deal.

For sentimental reasons would I prefer to stay with the Teamsters but it sounds like 1108 is outgrowing that organization. Can achieve goals more efficiently without dragging an anchor-like bureaucracy.

Not returning my baseball bat!

As a founding member of the Vast Right Wing Conspiracy ....

I find it interesting that many liberal union members are so offended by having dues go to a labor organization that primarily represents ordinary rank and file workers. Some of the outspoken liberals speak so disdainfully about being in a "truckers" union.

I personally don't mind supporting other workers with part of my dues. However I will not miss receiving giant postcards picturing Hoffa and Obama... like the 3, I received in the week before the Texas primaries.

So be it.

Not at all. I'm torn, you see...

The liberal in me wants to support my fellow worker.
The pilot in me is a greedy, cheap-ass SOB, and wants to keep all the money.

:D

headquarters are moving to Raleigh?

1900,

The cheap- ass pilot in me voted for Huckabee so we can eliminate the Income Tax and the IRS... and keep part of the $30K I sent in in 2007. Hillary and Obama will take a lot more than the amount of dues going to the Teamsters.

But i think what Capt dad is talking about is the one share of BRKb every NJ employee is going to receive for every yr of service.
:D

Lets see...

I got the t-shirts and hats a few yrs ago. Then I got a real nice watch. Got my suitcase in december. Waiting for my $5000 dollar overcoat.

What can be next?

Just smile and be happy.
It is going to Rock the House.

Think Big and benefiting the whole company.

You won't have to wait long.
Less than a month at most.

Well now you have my curiosity getting thebest of me. I dont see a move to Raleigh as benefiting me. I dont see AQP as being all that newsworthy. The split from IBT is big, but wont benefit the whole company. The Citation Columbus is already announced (not purchased)....this leads me to one of two things....orders for the SSBJ or (more realistic) sports team charter with (think) big planes, or other type of 121 flying. Or, IBB II ?

Did I say too much?

If this is about RDU, 100% of us in CMH have been left in the dark for 4+ months now. We just want to know if we will have to move or not. They have done a most excellent job in keeping it secret. Rumor is an announcement will be made Tues / Wed.

I know you can't disclose anything...But do these major announcements affect pilots, CMH, or both?

SG

Everyone and it is all good.

I don't mean to be a tool or tease, but I stumbled into a conversation and overheard things I had to promise not to repeat. Personally, I think it is a very big deal and will prove to some who we are (as if they don't already know), what kind of major company this is and will show where we are going in the future for years to come.

Just walk around with a big smile and be proud to be at NetJets. We are the safest, biggest, and best for a reason.:D
