Columbus threw millions at Skybus and haven't given NJA nearly the money or the respect. NJA wants to build a massive building or complex at the airport near the current NJA facility to house about 20 sims, all the rest of the training classrooms, and everything else they need for office space but the airport won't let them build anything beyond parking lots since another building will mess up the current radar used by the airport. My guess is they offer up NJA quite a few incentives to stay including a change in the radar site. The city doesn't want NJA to pull the plug, but if they don't offer something at least approaching the other cities offers, I think NJA should go. The RDU area has plenty of well qualified workers to staff NJA and I'm sure they have made quite a nice offer. Management has said the decision will be made by the end of the quarter. Either way, NJA wins.
I'd be willing to bet a very large percentage of us would move. We have a good thing. We are respected and treated well.

Man, Capt Dad has us all going...but isn't April around the corner??? Hmmm somthing about fools....Hope it's not a big April fools joke. At least rule that one out for us Capt!:smash:

Brings me back to Grade School.

"I know something that you don't know and I'm not going to tell you."

Grow up, you either make a point or sit back and let it come out on its own.

My guess is: acquisitions. Options, Flex and CS now owned by Uncle Warren. Alpha, Avantair and other prop jobs also acquired (to fly pilots around.)

Finally, Delta airlines; you are next.

I dont work there, but I cannot freaking wait for Captain Dad to come out of the closet.

No joke. Serious as a heart attack.

There are more out there that know what is going on and more precisely when. Time for them to take over.

I'm just happy to be here.

Go Buckeyes.;)

Why would we fire FlightSafety? Uncle Warren owns them too. Remember, the REALLY old-fashioned way of making money is taking it out of one pocket and putting into the other.

If I could have a wish, I would say Mr. Santulli becomes CEO of Berkshire Hawthaway. I'd take that over an adquisition or big plane order......

I don't see moving to RDU helping all of us. Many, but not all of us. Unless there is an increase in pay or days off, I fail to see the benefit of RDU.
