Brother, or perhaps sister. I’m not trying to argue. But honestly, if you open a business are you opening it to make all of your employees a standard of living or your a$$ MONEY!!! Lets be honest, you want money! It is not the companies job to provide enough for a standard of living. THATS YOUR JOB! There job is to make money and that is it. The less they pay you and ME, the more they make. That is a capitalistic society where we both reside (I’m assuming). There job is to make money for them not you. the more they give to you the less they make. Our job is to save our money, invest, not run it up on dumb stuff we really don’t need or want. If you want them to "Provide you with a standard of living" then move to Russia where Socialism and Communism, Every Man is The Same Theory, Reigns supreme. Otherwise save your money and you’ll end up like me...DEBT FREE!!!!!!!!

You are absolutely correct. If I was a skilled worker at say.....McDonalds, in charge of say....the french fries.....then yea, pay me that $hitty salary and I'll do what I can to allow Mickey D's to keep ruling the world of fast food. What the heck, i'm just a french fry maker - they are paying me for my skills.

WE'RE TALKING ABOUT PROFESSIONAL PILOTS HERE dipshizzle. $30K is not sufficient for this kind of job skill, in debt or not....that's not even relevant.

Listen i’m not saying that pilots should not make more. They are a great group of guys/girls we have here, I’m simply saying that the argument of a standard of living is not relevant. I agree that they do an excellent job!!, fly very sophisticated pieces of machinery. You say that they deserve it. Well according to those who fly us, I don’t speak for them, I’m willing to assume that most of them wouldn’t think that flying a plane is as important as say, running a huge corporation, insuring that people have medical benefits, Excellent health coverage (which we do), working deals against competitors to ensure that we have jobs for the future. That is all i'm saying. Those people deserve the money, it is there’s. Don’t get me wrong, I want to make more money, I feel that I should. But should I really make more not now no. Honestly every Union employee says that without my labor they wouldn’t make money, well without there labor (the big guys) we (you and me) wouldn’t have jobs. I’m telling you man do it for yourself it is more gratifying…and you’ll make a hell of a lot more.
