They must be doing the mass email thing today. I got one also. They said, "We have received your application and it has met our requirements for acceptance. Your application is on file for future interview selection. We will contact you when selected for a future interview date."

Well word got out at my current job that I am interviewing at NetJets. Now it's a game of brinkmanship. The DO has called a mandatory (or you're terminated) pilot meeting for the day of my interview. Sorry guys but I'm going to the interview. Things may get ugly but I'm doing what's right for me and my family!

I would explain the situation to NJA and see if they'll reschedule. I don't think that they'd have a problem with it. If not, you can always attend the interview anyway. It won't hurt to ask.

I talked to Derinda via e-mail, she said that these things happen often. I told her that I'd like to still attend the interview on the 14/15th and she said that she understood.

One of the dispatchers just called me to tell me that she gave her two weeks over the way that the company is treating me!

Application sent feb 3rd certified mail, they got it on feb 6. Got email yeterday feb 10th that application was accepted.

Guys, I am not sure how the pay chart works. If I upgrade to Captain at the three year point, does this mean that I would make third year Captain pay?

Please clarify for me....

Thanks...

No word since. No app. No LOR either (Still waiting to talk to a guy I know flying NJ)

*waits patiently by the mailbox*

T-1....yes you would make the pay of a 3 year Captain in that scenario....

The Class 1, 2, and 3 planes pay with respect to years of company service. Class 4 and 5 planes pay with respect to years in program, not years of company service.

But if you were upgrading at the 3-year mark, you aren't upgrading into a Class 4 or 5 plane.;)

Latest Table

Hey Folks,

I've gone through and updated the table again. Eight people (myself included) reported receiving the "your application has been accepted" email on Friday. From what I've seen, none of that group or the group that got the same message a week previous have been invited to interview.

OK, that begs the question... What is considered class 1, 2, 3,4,5 Aircraft???

Thanks again for the help... You guys Rock!!!

They're classified by weight. Until you get past 5th year captain (I believe it is), there's no pay difference between Class 1, 2, and 3. I'm not sure which of the types fall into which of those three classes, but I figure I'll know by the time it matters as far as my paycheck. :D

Class 4 right now only includes the Falcon 2000EX (not the straight 2000). Class 5 is the BBJ.
