All are contracted out except for Columbia Aircraft! I have picked up a few new Cessna's in Independence, KS. There is really no Domestic ferry work out there if thats what your looking for all the biz. is international.

Yes, I am looking for international work. Particularly I am looking to ferry aircraft to/from Europe. I have heard Southern Cross does mostly trans-pacific ferries. I will go to the site later and check them out.

I am currently a newby CFI with about 500 TT. So this is something I am looking to get into after I gain more experience.

You might try Barron Thomas, then. He uses pilots with your experience range to move things like Cessna 172's and 210's around the country, as well as pilots of other experience levels to move other airplanes around, too.

I think he requires 700TT and you to relocate to AZ pays $125.00 a day when flying. 1 to 2 planes a month. He also wants you to have airline passes. Thats the info I got when I called once on his advertisement for employment. It's better to get hooked up with a few good brokers they will keep you busy.

I am hooked with a few brokers now. I got my Pick of a few flight's but I am holding out for the multi's and the caravans. The AC-500 will be ready to go again soon.

Nope, this AC-500 don't have an autopilot! It was something mechanical so keep guessing I will tell you all what happened when it gets to it's destination.

Can't tell when you don't have any? Sorry NW, but you just can't jump into a 'Van and fly away with it. I've known of plenty of PT6's that have been fried by pilots that were supposed to have been properly trained to operate them. Not to mention you need to know the electrical system very well before you go on a long flight. What you don't know about that airplane will kill you very quickly... no matter how docile a reputation it has.

I googled his name but I do not see a company or contact info. I may give him a call. I am also interested in Southern Cross. Looks like a very professional organization. There does not seem to be much info about the light aircraft they ferry, only larger transport and corporate stuff.

You know, I haven't had too much of an opinion on this guy, I mean he's obviously immature and a bit of a jerk, but I wasn't going to pass judgement on some of hte stuff he was doing without knowing more.

However if he's offering ferry services for merlins, MU-2's, cheyennes and such with zero time in this class of aircraft (let alone time in the specific models), I have no reservation stating that he's a complete idiot with no redeeming qualities.

Ride along and learn to fly a particular model? Wait until Flight Safety International, CAE Simuflite, and every other training organization out there gets wind of your idea. You'll put them all out of business. Why train properly when you can merely ride along and figure it all out.

Look, you've already stated that you're looking for caravans to ferry despite any experince with or training on turbine engines, or that aircraft model. I can see the thought process. "well I have 4.3 hours checking myself out enroute in a caravan, and I rode along in a king air for a couple of hours, so I ought to be good to go to hop into a cheyenne .... " "Just hand me the POH the keys and my fee", right?

THat's just it, it's becoming increasigly obvious that you don't have the raw wattage necessary to recognize when you shouldn't be "comfortable"
