I wouldn't have bothered sending a letter. I'm sure they got a good laugh at it and discarded it once they knew you were a pilot. LOL. You're the last person they care to hear from. You probably felt good jabbing at them as a former 121 guy. They most likely receive an abundance of complaint letters, espeically re: their RJ operations.

Do post their reply, though.

Yeah, lets see. I flew AA and US Air as a former 121 pilot just last week. The US Air 737-300 WAS the WORST I have seen in my 13 years in aviaiton. NO Air vents, was hotter then two hells. No drink for you if you don't pay. Because US Air can not afford 15 cents for its passengers. The seats across from us, was from another aircraft. We had the tall seats, the folks across from us had the real short seats. The paint was coming off the side walls.=WHAT a JOKE of an AIrline !!! Was 2 hours late, Jetway broke when arrived in DFW, was a bad trip.

Delta= they have several 757s that have no air vents, and we all know their F/As SUCK !!!

AA=They sucked as well. 1 1/2 hour delay for a door light indication problem, F/As never once came through cabin. Wonder why Airtran and DL was full out of DFW?

AA

Whew, with prose like that--"handeling", "fraid" (dunno, maybe they were 'scared), "smegma", "all beverages...was prohibited", "she announce"--I expect they'll answer you in crayon or maybe via direct to your MySpace account.

It was just a NetJets prima donna trying to get his hate on.

My company purchased me a

I have to laugh here... I know it makes me look like a D-bag (among other things)...but still.

This is my first Go Jet experience and let me tell you

You mean was and I think there's supposed to be a comma in there somewhere.

I was on flight 5386 from IAD to ORF December 22, 2008.

Fragment.

when handeling passengers.

:crying:

First the carpet along the aisle was fraid and torn,

Why'd you scare it?

both seat back pockets in my row were bulked out with garbage.

Welcome to 21st century America!

There was gum and some kind of smegma stuck to the seat in front of me.

I hope you weren't honestly looking for a reply while telling United there was genital ooze on the setback.

The tray table looked like a science experiment with coffee food and soda stains.

"The seat-back tray table was atrociously dirty..."

The window had so much head grease on it that you could not see out of the window, it looked as if you were to open your eyes underwater without goggles on.

You should have left that last part out... I think the guys over in HQ know what head grease will do to a shiny surface.

There was sticky stuff all over the seat and completly unsanitary.

You mean there was more smegma?

Prior to pushing from the gate the flight attendants made an announcement that all beverages brought on to the airplane including coffee, soda, water etc. purchased in the concourse was (were) prohibited and had to be collected per FAA regulation (this is completly false).

They know that.

Upon arriving at the gate at 9;45 local, the flight attendant announced the local time as 14:30 local, then 0730 local and then after asking the passengers what time it was she announce the correct local time.

Ever break a watch mid-trip?

I took photos of the condition of the airplane for proof of my claims.

:funone:

INTERNET: SERIOUS BUSINESS!

My 11-year old writes better than you. I'd simply delete this email if it was sent to me, it sounds like it was written by a SIMPLETON.

You are supposed to type any number below 100 into a word. 11 is supposed to be, eleven because the number eleven is less than 100.

Would explain his taking serious offense to the condition of a GoJet aircraft.
Not the point.

I am not offended by any person complaining about their experience on any regional airline. I just tend to get tired of these NetJets biatches acting all offended because the airlines do not provide the same level of customer service while providing rides from ATL to IAD for $99.

Isn't Gojets on the "banned" list at NetJets. I thought NetJets pilots had to waive their contract to fly on that POS airline.

NetJet pilots ride on GoJet all of the time. If someone has a problem with the flight attendants or the condition of the cabin, go to ualsurvey.com and let them know. GoJet is number one in customer satisfaction according to United's quality rankings. I think this is simply flame-bait or the work of someone who hasn't been on a plane recently.

Well, I'm a former regional pilot Dash driver, and current Netjets "biatch". Plain and simple, we're paying pax on expensive tickets. With that comes the right to complain if things are unsanitary.

I'll chime in.

I work for Colgan and I was sitting in the EWR terminal the other day and had the greatest conversation with a couple of really awesome NetJets pilots, on the Hawker.

No you're not paying pax, Nejets or specifically the owner is the one who is paying. Have a nice day.

.....and all those business travelers in the $3,000 seats going international aren't paying passengers either because their companies, or specifically their customers are paying. Riiiiiiiiiight.

Kinda like you were not a paying student when your daddy paid for flight school. Have a nice day.

Now that is funny!

I find it quite funny to see all the spelling nazi's on here... please continue to correct my spelling while overlooking the point of the thread... oh wait was that a run on too??

It was a pathetic flight, the whole reason Go Jet exists (undercutting the TSA Pilots) is pathetic... The condition of the aircraft, the ignorance of the crew and the complete lack of respect for themselves and the company is what I observed...

Oh and yes a watch can break, but on 45 min flight from IAD to ORF East Coast to East coast the time does not go from 1430 to 0730 to asking pax the actual time

Yeah, right. Try $1600 out of ORD for a middle seat on American tomorrow.

NetJets doesn't buy these mythical $99 tickets because we buy last-minute, one-way tickets. For the privilege, we're gouged on price, frequently get "random" extra screening, get grief from both pilots and FAs for not "checking in" with the flightcrew to "ask for a ride," and derision from people like you because we won't put up with substandard service from airlines any more than we'd put up with it in a restaurant.

Another one who applied at NJA but never got the call. Sad.

For what it is worth.. the fare from CMH to ORF with a stop in IAD was 101.00 on UA.. First leg was chitty taco and the second leg was ho jet...
Funny thing is you could not drive to from CMH to ORF for less than 101.

I must say in defense of the regional world that Colgan just came out with this paperwork for the first flight of the day as a checklist for aircraft cleanliness inside/outside. Bad enough that passengers have to get on what they perceive as "little jets" or "propeller airplanes" and the interiors look like crap. Our image should be like the major airlines we serve, in my humble opinion.

It's more paperwork for the crew but at least they're being proactive in aircraft appearance. I was working a flight about a month ago where a Colgan/PNCL management type was taking pics of the interior, guess it spawned from that.

WOW Sounds like Colgan is soaring to the top!

I don't believe anyone forced you to stay on that filthy a/c with such disrespect toward you and the industry. You do have the right to turn around and take the next one. Why don't you do that next time....mmmmmmmkay

I don't remember the last time I paid the same rate as the Johnson family going to orlando. We pay for tickets at the most a day in advance. For that your airline (whichever domestic airline it is) rapes the crap out of us and provides us with dirty crappy airplanes and rude crew.

Luckily I've been flying international on foreign carriers a lot so the service has been exemplary.

Don't hate us because you got turned down. Next time don't show up with doc martens, frosted tips and a backpack for your job interview.

Usin that nice gold tie to wipe away the tears.

Hey laserman must suck to hate life all day and realize that you lost your chance at getting on with NJ... thats if you even had the time to qualify for us.

Oh well good to see the hiring department is doing a good job.
