CDO's at Air Wisconsin require a min of 5 hours on the ground AND a hotel room.

During a normal trip, I think the contract says 4:30 between actual in and scheduled out gets you a day room.

the best CDO's are the ones that go to canada. You have to sit out in baggage claim area for 4 hours because customs doesn't open til 5am. So they look even more like homeless bums. Then don't forget about the jounior assignment when ya get back.

How is mesa scabs of the industry?

Because pilots are willing to whore themselves to the lowest denominator (MESA) in the industry at any price under any conditions. This is America, Land of Opportunity. There are other alternatives. Get off your arse and find them. Do you not live your life based on a set of values and principals?
