Profession? Union? You've got to be kidding me. Mesa, SCABS of the Industry. How many of you either flew for or jumpseated on Mesa in the past or present? And you wonder why these airline manager's treat you as they do?
"Well, I needed to build time to get out of there" or "I was desperate, I needed a way to work or home." Thanks for your support!

Labor Union.....ALPA? Grow some hair on your nuts and put a stop to the downward spiral of this once called "profession." Oh yea, I forgot, you don't really belong to an AFL-CIO Labor Organization........it's a Professional Airline Association.......White Collar Professionals.

I wonder what David Behncke or former real EAL Pilots would say to ALPA leadership or to those of you that "support" airlines like Mesa today?

Pathetic....
How is mesa scabs of the industry?

What do you call a mesa pilot with a peice of plywood ??? First Home Owner

What do you call a mesa pilot with 3 peices of plywood??? Property Developer

lol :)

Seriuously though this is disgracefull. As much as we bash Mesa this is something that could happen at any carrier if we all dont start sticking up for each other.

So, would a Mesa pilot without a piece of plywood therefore be homeless?

Where are all the Mesa pilots and supporters that normally chime in on the Mesa bashing treads lately? I guess it's kind of hard to try to justify this kind of crap, even for them.

They can't type. They have too many splinters from playing with each other's wood during the overnight. They don't sit down too much either!

You all get what you deserve working for a Scabby airline like Mesa. Too bad ALPA doesn't kick you out. Oh wait, you give ALPA money. Guess they will now take anyone who pays them off now -isn't that right FREEDOM SOB's???

From A list to Z boards, Mesa has consistently defined the bottom of the industry in just about every way imagineable.

Ya hear that sound? That's the sound of that catchy little play on words whizzing right over everyone's head. Too bad. Nicely done.

How many hours between flights is YOUR airline required, by contract, to provide a hotel to you?

Mesa
Comair
Eagle
ExpressJet
Mesaba
Chautauqua
SkyWest
ASA
Pinacle
TSA
Air Wisconsin
Colgan
Piedmont

Just curious...

I'd love to see a photo of crews sleeping in their planes - I'd pass it along to a friend of mine who is a staff writer for the Dallas Morning News. I'm trying to convince him to write a feature on the sh!tty conditions these guys at the regionals face.
