You must be kidding!!! By casting away people not typed in the aircraft a company operates, they are overlooking a group of pilots in which there are great people who would fit in well at the department and do a fine job. If you honestly think it's the right thing to do by only seeking people only rated in their aircraft, then how did you get work in any aircraft you have not rented? Oh, are you a gulfstream airlines pilot? Either way, you way of thinking lets me know just the type of person you are and you confirm the fact that you are a loser. What an idiot.You guys sound surprised that they didn't call you. However, if your profiles are correct, you are not qualified in anything JD operates. I am sure they received many qualified resumes from pilots with time in type. Why would they want to go out and hire a green guy (no pun intended) to only train them in a new airplane?

Is that all F/O's do at SWA? Or is he doing gear swings in the mx hanger? And who the heck from the large trucking company got hired at WN?

A friend of mine who I flew Citation X's with applied and interviewed for that first posting some 6 months ago.. they called his current employer and then proceeded not to hire him. Needless to say, the current employer "furloughed" him at their first opportunity... it worked out for him as he's now dropping gear on a 737 for SWA.
The worse part is that he met the DO for the operation at FSI while in CE750 recurrent which is what got him the interview.. and still didn't get hired!
Hmmmm.... isn't human resources supposed to keep that info quiet. I understand a company might question his loyalty, but HR shouldn't jeopardize a guys job just because he is looking around.
