I'm assuming you could openly talk about said employer in public, too?

Absolutely, Allegiant Air. Creative business model but 36 consecutive profitable financial quarters and avg. 91% LF means something is going right. Fun and comfortable place. Thanks for asking!

Welcome home, PTG! Now, pay Uncle Sam his due...you've been slacking.

Speaking of slacking...time to update that blog of yours.

Caesar will always get his but not from any UAE Dirhams I made in 2011, that's all mine!

I'll admit the blog has slid down the priority list lately due to my recent frivolous efforts of securing gainful employment and a roof over my head.

I intend on writing a few posts about the UAE underbelly now that I am hopefully in a place where blogs are not monitored and punished for content.

Over there, I had to throttle myself or risk a loud knock on the door at 3AM by a few guys in desert camo uniforms with drawn Berreta 9MM handguns, pockets full of zip-ties, Korans and Sharia law Cliff Notes.

My current blog will wind down but I will keep it active for those curious about working in the Middle East. I plan to start a new one about LVNV, the US, and the airline biz in general.

Stay tuned!
