POSTING INFORMATION
Please apply on or before: Sunday, August 19, 2012
.

I had heard earlier this year that they might be hiring. Is this due to AC growth or retirements?

Reserve Dispatcher=Assistant Dispatcher that must have a certificate and be fully Alaska qualified. I wonder if they get full scale pay when called upon to fill in for a regular Dispatcher.
This Assistant Dispatcher thing seems a disturbing trend.

They get full scale to start if they have their dispatch certificate. The only difference is you can have your schedule changed with 24 hours or more notice.

For 2012 - 22.84, 23.92, 26.39, 28.09, 31.81, 33.85, 36.03, 38.35, 39.84, 41.39, 43.01, 44.68, 46.43, 48.32, plus longevity and shift differential. Chief Dispatchers make 10% more.

They get full scale to start if they have their dispatch certificate. The only difference is you can have your schedule changed with 24 hours or more notice.

How's the seniority work? Does a Reserve Dx'er keep DOH or from the time they get promoted to a regular dispatcher?

Hiring 8 dispatcher/2 assistants on the CO side.
