The Delta VARS message does contain an interesting change in rhetoric. I find it very interesting that the the Delta pilots' representatives are negotiating contingent on restructuring at "all of the Company’s constituencies."
ALPA has denied the "constituencies" at ASA and Comair who have flown Delta passengers for 25 years from participating in discussions about this restructuring. So, whatever the Delta pilots negotiate behind closed doors will likely be imposed on the ASA and Comair MEC's after the fact, or perhaps we will even see the same sort of shennanigans that happened to the CC Air, Allegheny and Piedmont pilots.
Either way, the fasten seatbelt sign is on....
