As usual, the truth is probably in between Wave & Lear...reality in both your posts. It would help if our management would announce an ATL base and pay parity, just my .02.

Actually my pay is down year over year due to less flying and instead of 11.5% match, i now get a 9.3%. It will only get worse as flying is reduced further. Those are factd not bs numbers.

Then what's it about?

Seriously?

Seniority. Captain seats. An Atlanta domicile. Etc.

I agree with the above posters who say that a simple thing like announcing a permanent ATL domicile would go a long way towards easing some concerns. That's something that a company who truly believed in the "Golden Rule" would have done in their announcement email. Instead, we're left completely in the dark, wondering what exactly is going to happen to us.

Sorry we can't all be so positive, Wave, but we just aren't "feeling the LUV" yet.

Everyone is down from about 80-85 hours of credit pre-merger to right around Guarantee now.

It will fluctuate here and there, but even our summer numbers won't go over 80 hours average credit. They yanked a LOT of capacity out of the system when they pulled all those cities late last year and early this year.

I honestly think the GO will announce an ATL domicle before all this hits the fan. I'm very optomistic about that piece of the puzzle. I don't see SW wanting to crank up the hotel cost there when we (collectively) have so many pilots that live there.

It's already hit the fan, red. Our pilots are livid, and not just the usual suspects. SWA management couldn't possibly have handled this any worse. They need to engage in some massive damage control. Waiting weeks or months to make those sorts of announcements will only allow the anger to fester. Not good.
