You obviously have never read any of my previous posts on GIA. First off, you don't know whether or not I paid GIA a dime. More than half the pilots at GIA were hired off the street or flowed up into the airline after instructing. Second off, I was a CFI for three years first. Freelance the first two years and the last year I spent as a 141 instructor at GAA. I did not purchase a job to become a CFI at GAA. I did not purchase a job at GIA. I don't know who you think you are but you don't know the first thing about GIA or myself. Why don't you just go ahead and tell us what you think is wrong with my career path. Do you think that I did something wrong? Do you think that I am wrong for associating myself with the hard working people at GIA? You most likely think that my time after work that I put in for the union is bad too. Are you even an airline pilot? I'll have more for you when you answer that last question.

I guess I was wrong about you. I am happy that you didn't PFT. You sound pretty defensive about being labeled a PFT'er. I don't blame you. I don't have any problem with your career path. I do have a problem with those that purchase seats in the cockpit. Unfortunatly for you though, people will lump you in with the people that PFT, due to your long career at GIA. You can explain it away, but doesn't that get old?

I remember joining this site in 2003 after some of my students at GAA told me what people were saying about them.

It was being said about them before you showed up, and it will continue to be said about them long after you are gone. As long as PFT exists, those that can see the problems these systems create will decry their existence.

For the record, DE727UPS is for real.... I've got alot of respect for him.

I'll second that. I have met and talked with him at length in Vegas last Oct. Add to the fact that he is based in my city. I should be meeting up with he and others from another board sometime next mnth.

Wow...the atmosphere over here compared to "other places" is just immature. If you must know I my preference is 121 ops. But I've never discounted UPS or FDX. But maaaaaan your right DE is gonna get me on at UPS with all of my 180 hrs. Something you all might not understand over here is something called simple friendship and comraderie...ass!

Well for the record I haven't bashed anyone since I got here. But if you want to know my opinion about GIA I'll tell you. I agree fully with DE,we talk about this subject in earnest over on that board (that isn't bannercentral.com). The webmaster and other professional pilots are strongly opposed to this form of PFT/PFJ. I believe that programs such as this are doing nothing but bringing down the industry in terms of respect,safety and pay.

You sound like a GIA alum so I wouldn't expect you to understand. Furthermore it is our business how you got where you are if your selfish actions brings down the respect of our choosen profession. I truly believe that you and the other GIA grads on here are rationalizing your decsion to attend that school. Perhaps to make yourselfs feel better..who knows. People who PFT/PFJ are selfish and only concerned about me, me, me instead of others and the industry at large. Though your not scabs they (scabs) also share the same mentality.

Like I said it is nobodies business how I got to where I am and I am not going to bring it onto this site, maybe I did maybe I didn't who knows who cares. I do know people and have worked with people who went to Gulfstream and there was nothing wrong with their flying abilities. When I fly with someone I do not ask where they came from unless they tell me or criticize how they got to where they are because everyone has a different situation in life. I find it very rude and arrogant for someone like DE to come on this board and tell someone they should be looked down upon for a decision they made.

If anybody on here sounds selfish it is youself and DE and as far as bringing down the industy with safety and pay, you need to look elsewhere and quit fishing.

You need to educate yourself and stop listening to other pilots about your views and how to think.
