Time to take another plane from ASA!

http://avherald.com/h?article=44bb9abd&opt=512

A GoJet Canadair CRJ-700, registration N173GJ performing flight G7-3672 from Saint Louis,MO to Chicago O'Hare,IL (USA), landed on O'Hare's runway 28, but struck its wing onto the runway surface at around 09:06L (15:06Z). The aircraft rolled out safely and taxied to the gate.

Tower reported the winds from 240 degrees at 21 knots gusting 27 knots at about the time of the landing.

The FAA reported the leading edge of the wing contacted the runway surface.

I had 8 years in the CRJ and 5 years of that we didn't have a crosswind restriction.. I never hit my wing and I am sorry the winds reported is normal.

Winds; plural. Is; singular. Winds reported ARE/WERE normal. Or, the "wind" reported IS/WAS normal.
