Get a clue! what do you know about grievances being filed at TSA? Are you in the MEC? A line pilot? Tell me where you get your info from. Just so you know, the reason for the grievance not being expedited at this time is that ALPA has given the company one more chance to work out a solution to this problem. Duane Woerth, along with the TSA MEC, will meet on May 26th with TSA management to try and reach a settlement. If an agreemnet cannot be reached, then you will see the expedited grievance process go to work.

From your profile you're obviously an ex-TWA furlough. Why the hell do you want to work for an outfit like GoJets? I just don't understand the thought process of some of you. Surely your experience would be golden for places like NJI, CitationShares, and other quality 91 corporate outfits that pay a hell of a lot better. Or does your backstabbing, bitter, "I've been screwed, so screw everyone else" attitude steer these more quality operations away from hiring you? I just don't get it.

Jacka$$........er flyer. I don't think they can actually expedite any grievance or even file a grievance period until Blowjets has a cert. in place. That's the reason Teamsters backed out of the deal. Blowjets is not an actual company yet. It's just an inevitable scumbag operation to be. As soon as it becomes official though, look out, da fight be on like donkey kong.

Well this thread has been going for several days now. The same few people keep posting the same things over and over. There 700+ pilots at TSA and based on these post (since it's the same people over and over).... only about less than 1% of the TSA pilots even care. The same vocal minority have been posting over and over. Let this one die.


TSA you basically have two options:

1) Let GoJets Fly and go work for them.
or
2) Get rid of your AA feed and fly your CRJ's

Seems simple to me!

I thought the first day of class went well. We had a big welcome and got company pens and stationary. The balloons were a bit over the top but all in all it was so far so good as they say in the industry.

Im sure all the hard feelings will blow over in a month or two, and then we can all be friends and jumpseat together and all laugh at how this career sure has changed since the first Airport movie with Drinkin Dean.

There's another reason not to go to HoJets. Even if you're a scumbag who doesn't mind screwing other people to get to the top; this won't get you there!! The company will toss you aside as soon as it reaches an agreement with ALPA. You are merely a pawn to be used against the TSA MEC in hopes of squeezing some conession out before you are either stapled (if you're lucky) or kicked to the curb (if we're lucky).

Oh, another reason not to go: Do you think that they will ever upgrade any FOs at HoJets? Maybe if you're the biggest butt-kisser out there. Otherwise, they'll just hire street capts. They've already demonstated that they'll do that at any opportunity! Don't forget about the J4J with United either. There will be very few upgrades at HoJets even if they win the grievance. I can't wait to hear FOs there complaining. Look how much good it did you to get in early and be at the top of the "seniority list." You guys all suck.

Doesn't it strike you folks as a little bit strange that ALPA, whose actions are responsible for the likes of Freedom, Republic and GoJet is suddenly trying to stop it?

Apparently not.

In order to have any hope of arriving at a solution, you first have to identify what the problem is. They know something is wrong but can't seem to discern the source of the problem even when they're repeatedly told what it is.

To add to the obfuscation, we have ALPA lackeys like FDJ2 and Generally taking things out of context and making stuff up out of whole cloth in an attempt to blame the alter ego problem on the RJDC.

This debacle is like watching a snake eat a rat isn't it? You're repulsed by the sight of it but it's so fascinating, you can't look away.

Okay, you convinced me. Let's strike!! How do we do that? Oh right, there's a little problem with the LAW. HK violates legal contracts every day with few or no consequences but if do something in violation of the RLA, we will be spanked. That's the way it is. Now what do you suggest we do? I'm sure we could get a near unanimous strike vote (100% voted to strike in 2000), but that isn't an option. The grievance process and possibly Federal court are the only legal options. I personally think an illegal (but how could you stop it) work action such as calling all the times in and out truthfully until there was one list would probably put the hurt on the company bad enough to get something accomplished fairly quickly since the company loses money for being late and money seems to be the only thing that gets through to management here. I would guess the approximately 90% on time numbers would drop down under 50% if the truth were told and even if management tried to prove it was an illegal work action- how could they argue before a judge that calling the times in truthfully is an illegal work action? Just my 2 cents.
