It's been nearly 5 years since go! began service in Hawaii and we haven't heard anything about them for some time now. Parent company Mesa is out of bankruptcy and despite even ALPA's tepid support of the operation, it's still kicking. Even Hawaiian seems to like them - or at least it's hiring some of their pilots.

HA is hiring Go pilots because they have slots to fill and qualifying Go drivers are already in base and know how to opeerate in the islands.

Yep. Pretty difficult.

5 destinations. Horrible VMC every day. A little breezy and bumpy in OGG. No speed rules. Local ATC who turns a blind eye.

Not sure what you've heard, but, it's not exactly rocket science in HI.

Good thing considering their public schools.

Go - Party

Actually we were planning a surprise party but now you blew it. gee thanks.
Actually, the five year anniversary party is tonight, under the banyon tree at the Sheraton - ala moana surfrider hotel, should be a good time. Go is alive and kickin in Hawaii.
