There's been mention of the 2500 TT being the only truly hard requirement. Is there any way of being hired without an ATP?

Absolutely no budging from any of the "hard requirements", even if you are an Airbus test pilot.

MINS:
2500 Total Time
1500 ME Fixed-Wing
500 PIC
500 Jet or Turbine

Competitive stats will probably be at least double the minimum requirements, but if you have F-16 time (fly-by-wire) you may get a shot with the minimums. Internal letters of recommendation carry the most weight by far.

Frontier will be gobbled up in the wave of mergers thats about to happen. I've already heard the rumors of the "new USair" taking a hard look at them. Just a rumor but it's funny how a lot of these seem to come true...............

I have heard the USAIR and Jetblue thing quit a bit also.

Another one you can have is: VIRGIN AMERICA!

Just got back from the interview and it was a breath of fresh air. Basically just pilots interviewing pilots. Don't worry about a gouge, three of us were there early and while waiting outside we joked about not having any idea what the day would entail and how unprepared we felt. They are looking for professionals with a positive attitude. Good luck to everyone that gets a call, you will have a great experience.

Everyone that interviewed was previously scheduled to interview last year and we all had an internal rec. Diverse and impressive group.

Congrats!

HONESTLY--->BE YOURSELF. Ignore the upcoming gouges (things will change) because if u come in "canned", you are fooling yourself. You might get hired but you might not like F9. We dont want that.

STAYSEATED, is correct in the way to prepare for this meeting.

Good luck,

From this week's Chief Pilot's "Cam-o-Gram" (newsletter) We will be interviewing 10 pilots every other week starting in October. Exact dates TBA.
