I talked with him a month ago and he told me to contact him with any questions. I can't remember if he prefers a phone call or email.

I talked to the man today. I'm a ways down the list.

I was impressed by them during the interview, and this seems like something that's worth waiting for. Just gives me a chance to save more money before they call me.
