I hope your F&H paychecks clear every time. You suck at your job as a FUD slinger. I hope F&H got the money up front for this because FLOPS has a long history of not paying it's bills.

Yea-I would have to say Joe Scott, Joe Kainrad, Carl Seeds or Mike Motsis. All have their heads shoved pretty far up mgts butt right about now. I hope FLOPS really works out for those folks as these names will be remembered by all the Former FLOPers out there in this small aviation world. They can take Mike's old advice that FLOPS is a stepping stone to ahhh Mesa...
 
Chingaso, thanks for an excellent recap, great post! I began posting here as an angry wife sick of seeing her husband's skill being exploited and her family being short-changed and made to suffer for corporate greed. I remember how much it meant to me to read posts by board members who understood. I know from that experience (and Options families have it even worse!) that your post has provided a lot of support when it is badly needed. Bravo! NJW

God damn Bob is that the best you can do? I got a newsflash for ya. Congratulations you won the battle. You can rest assured that all that time spent battling the pilots instead of improving the business really paid off. Labor battle won company lost. You may not remember me, but I was the pilot that asked you remove me from you're anti-union mailings. Obviously you didn't listen cause I still recieve them. See you in hell pall. Thanks for hating me too. You are more than welcome to hate mgmt for your own reasons, just don't belittle my reason for not hating them. I just don't happen to agree with the union's anti-management mentality that's based soley on the fact that they're management, the must be against us.
I now can classify you with the other "calling people names on the internet" people. This is becoming boring...


Skanza, I can live with you classifying me as someone who calls people names on the internet. You have proven where you stand and who you side with. Even after everything FLOPs management has done to its pilots and employees this weekend you still support management. I have more respect for a damp smelly dish rag than I do for someone like you.
 
Fr8Dog, how frustrating for you! The FUD mill is a huge industry. I wonder how much money that should have gone to the Options pilotgroup has been wasted by the FLOPS? :mad:

The Fudspinner is on my ignore list so I didn't realize he was still annoying you guys with his BS posts about my family. The NJ pilots know that my husband flies the line (out right now) and does Union work. And as far as the stipend (that barely covers what a pilot can make in OT, holiday pay, etc) goes, NJASAP leaders don't receive it even though they're working for the pilotgroup just as much as they did in 1108. So let's see...we're down over $5,000 so far...but we still contributed to the NJASAP fund and to the account set up for the Options pilots. (I encourage NJ pilots to donate to those worthy causes). While I'm documenting my family's selfishness and greed...:rolleyes: I should add that my husband lost out on $10,000 of income because his joint-committee projects to help the Company meant he was a year behind or so in becoming an instructor. Not to mention all the lost OT, holiday pay before the Union starting trying to offset lost income from volunteer service to the pilotgroup. Now that I've dealt with that red herring, let's expose the rest of the FUD stinking up this thread.

1108 gave the Options pilots a fighting chance and the best hope they had to WIN (as in achieve despite an uphill battle) a fair contract. Union leaders can only show pilots the way; they still had to staff their committees, become a tight group, and stand up to management's sleazy tactics --directed by the union-busting firm F&H. The Options pilotgroup has had their work cut out for them, but they have made steady progress. They know exactly who has been trying to destroy their will to fight corporate greed. The understandably irate threads on the subject are pointing straight to the Sheering Gang and their thug behavior expressly designed to harm the FltOps pilots and families. The village idiot can stand in the square spouting nonsense but those under fire know exactly where the rounds are coming from.

Options pilots can unfortunately, but easily, identify with the following passage from Confessions Of A Union Buster: "I come from a very dirty business. The enemy was the collective spirit. I got hold of that spirit while it was still a seedling; I poisoned it, choked it, bludgeoned it if I had to, anything to be sure it would never blossom into a united work force. ...the war they suspected was being waged against them was a real one....supervisors were taught to despise and fear unions...This manipulation is just one of the dirty tricks that have transformed the war on organized labor into a billion-dollar industry...of ruthless campaigns of treachery and terror..."

BD, I discovered Skanza's anti-pilot, pro-management attitudes when the NJA pilots were at the bargaining table. The good thing about distinct lines is that it's easy to spot which side a person chooses to stand on. The FLOPS have made it clear that there's no more middle ground.

It was Rick F that was doing the road trips to DAL to tell the pilots that they should trust management. If so that would be ironic.
 
It is never good to hear of people being laid off or terminated. The impact on families and the breadwinner are tremendous. There is no joy either for managing these type things either. For all the talk about union non-union, the fact is that if NJ ahd to terminate 200 pilots due to the economy sinking, would it make much difference because they are a union organization. All this talk is pretty unproductive but I guess it lets people vent. Businesses fail for a lot of reasons, some valid, some poor management, bad calls, regulations change, values change, all kinds of things. They rarely fail because someone wants to beat up employees.
